Someone posted a thread from an Orgeon site that said the kid always wanted to be at Cal, but Mendoza pretty much sabotaged his recruitment because he was upset at how Wilcox handled some stuff. Sabotage = told the kid he wasn't going to transfer and was going to make his year ****.

I read that but i find it hard to believe. More troubling is that he played Cal all the way up to signing day or close to it. He did not do this by himself. So somebody is lying somewhere. To go back on your word twice in that small window tells me a lot about family decisions. Samoans dont typically operate that way. Lol. We stay true to sound family decision making. If i was Cal, he woule be learning a tough lesson this season.
