Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

Texas boosters been doing that since forever and look at them now lol
Let's not apply the same "What have they won" logic to them as us though lol.
They are in an entirely higher tier of spending and resources and barely did more this season lol.

Not saying you're wrong for wanting money to go to certain guys, but this is literally the evidence of why that is a bad idea/slippery slope. At the end of the day you gotta trust the coach. If you want to control your money control who is handling it... That's my viewpoint. Pay for better scouts/analysts.

I wonder if part of our strategy in trying to lockdown Daniels/Rivers early is to entice Mateer :2h3mpi1:
If only that was the strategy last year when JS was waffling. Should have given him a number he couldn’t say no to. We still end up with Cam and we are in the playoffs this year.

Alex Wollschlager, RT, Bowling Green in the portal.

Taking a trip to Kentucky.

Pure RT. But was a 250lber in HS, now over 300, and most likely a future NFL football player. One year left. First team All-Mac this year. 39 career starts. Improvement every year.

Gives us flexibility to move Mauigoa to a more premium position or need (LG perhaps?!).

Looks like a good communicator on the line. Holds up at the point. Redirects and moves off his his blocker and gets to the next level. Plays a little high occasionally, but he's 6'7" in the MAC, its bound to happen with the midgets on the edge.

I think with that Mirabal coaching, he'd be even better.

Watched - CMU, Toledo, and Penn State games in a replay.

Seems like we are focused on finding OG, but I agree 100 percent. Find the best tackle or guard and if its a tackle, we can move FM to G, where he would dominate even more imo.
