Armstrong wasn't trash at all tbh

He was worst then trash. Armstrong was a dumpster fire. He lost his starting job in the middle of the season to MJ Morris and only got the job back when MJ Morris saved his eligibility after playing 4 games and transferred out with 3 games to go in the season.

Armstrong numbers last season threw for 1,785 passing yards completed 160 passes on 262 attempts (61%) 11 TDs 7 INTs

CJ Bailey this season threw 1,941 passing yards, completed 163 passes on 256 attempts (63%), 12 TDs 8 Ints

The one thing Armstrong is great at is running the ball which is his strength. But as a passer he was trash. I'll never forget last years Virginia Vs Nc State game and it wasn't long after that Armstrong lost his starting job.

That's true but still kinda scary. He could be the next Sam Brown down here. Concepcion was awesome in his freshman year, I wanted him as X replacement but who knows

Fair point but it just means our depth is taking a hit. We will lose 5 WRs from our depth chart. That’s a lot.

Maybe he means depth wise after losing X, George, Brown, and then potentially Ray Ray too. But if we keep our current 3 hs commits + add a stud in the portal we should be more than fine.

Agree with this notion except we HAVE to hit in the portal. Will be an interesting spring for Carr, CRob and trader. You assume that they will be ready to contribute next fall. Trader possibly but the other two guys are question marks at this point. As for the HS kids this class, I don’t think you can assume any of them will contribute next fall.

We will get a WR in portal. Only question is it 1 or 2 of them. Young receivers contribute all over the country so it's not a crazy expectation for a FR or Soph to get on the field. We definitely need Trader and some other young guy to be ready to contribute next year even if we hit home runs in the portal.

Yes, he was our most explosive playmaker but he is also REPLACEABLE. He isn't a special player. He didn't make aggressive plays to draw those penalties. He made "I come first" penalties. I am saying there are other explosive kids out there who will not do the dumb **** that he did and can produce at the same level, if not better. You are getting trapped into thinking Jacolby is a stud. In my OPINION he is replaceable and not worth the bull****.

He doesn’t even look or move like a wr to me. I just don’t see it in him but it’s still early.
