Hope for his sake that he means bags, because the UF/Mullen history of NFL tight ends is pretty slim.

Richards is a BIG catch...so versatile and a previous true camp time of 4.46......most acknowledge the frame to add more muscle and still be the athlete he is.

Listen to them in the interviews they’re saying it themselves . There are still some old school kids but a lot of these kids don’t give af about that staying home **** man. They don’t have to stay home for the fam to see them, can watch em on tv or **** in the $EC they probably giving out flights and tickets that’s chump change to them it probably comes with the package . It is what it is .

Last but not least there are kids whose parents are telling them the exact OPPOSITE of what you just said. A lot of them encourage their kids to go out of state. You’ve been in Florida all your life, see new places, meet new ppl, be successful elsewhere, you can always come back, that kinda bs. They go to these schools on visits and the staff throws players that are from their area at them as their escort for the visit. Parents see that and get comfortable with their kid leaving and tell them so. We did the same thing with DeeJay and Ezzard cuz he was from GA. It’s a wrap after that

Very well said. But I would add that there are just some kids that are not going to change their minds about leaving Florida and it is NOT because the coach is a bad recuiter. Coaches can point out all the positives, etc but at the end of the day, some kids aren't staying home.

I don't think that's any issue. He has said many times he doesn't care - he can play them all.
 
Every year there will be a few from down here who get paid. Dent, TS, Ladson this year. TC, Surtain, David, cook last year.

I just don’t understand why we waste time and resources recruiting guys that are bagged. The coaches have to know right?
 
3 years ago, we would lose out on top SFla recruits for a whole host of reasons. Too many to name actually. The knocks against our program were almost endless. In fact, unless you were a diehard, you didn’t entertain the thought of UM.

Today, we lose out on top SFla recruits for only 3 simple reasons: 1. BAGS, 2. Frontrunning, and 3. Not a Canes fan/want to leave SFla.

We can’t do much about #’s 1 and 3. That just is what it is.

But #2 we can. We just need to win and win big and then we take another big reason to go elsewhere off our list.

Lol I literally said not holding out hope. I like being a bit more level headed than 3 out of the 4 of y’all on here that either are on cloud nine or on top of a building about to jump. **** changes. It’s recruiting.

Coaches still have to recruit them or they’re not doing their jobs. Stevenson said Banda was recruiting him hardest out of anybody. If he doesn’t come move on can’t cry over spilled milk.

We don't for most part...Only a couple of them go past summer/fall. Stevenson is good enough to try and change his mind.

The purse needs to opened. Period. Clemson just pays for Top QBs, DL, and WRs. But now they are dipping into DBs, LBS.

Top DBs and DL have a price tag and the competition in SOFLA is getting unreal. Bama, OSU, and now UGA live down here.

Start playing the game or we’ll never see another title. I don’t care how good of a coach we have...
 
We need to start turning in the cheating schools and the kids taking bags. That’s been the solution for a while.

Frustrating...I mean FSU ain't exactly in Bama/OSU/Clemson class right now either. Had a nice little run, but it was that A LITTLE RUN, when they were a top 5-7 program outside of their ship. Not the elite big dogs
