Just please don't want to hear about these players all buddy/buddy and hanging with TS on campus...F*** all that.

Hard to believe all of our Southridge and South Dade recent additions can't sway this kid. He has 5 ex teammates committed to or at UM the last 8 months.

Exactly that was the point I was trying to make earlier

One more thing on Stevenson...I hope (and I would assume) we aren't hard ball stancing him on playing safety. I know that's where UM prefers him, but Georgia seems to want him as a CB. Just a thought.

You let that kid choose where he starts out at.

Miami/South Florida is a bandwagon town. Kids see UGA play in the playoffs they pick up interest in UGA. Bags don't hut but its not just bags. Don't believe me? Look how many "South Florida Kids" are now all of sudden interested in Oklahoma. Okla freakin homa. We take care of business this year and kids will be begging to come to the Orange and Green! Just win Baby starting with LSU.
Then why is FSU killing us in recruiting again off a 6-6 season and a firing of their coach when we went 10-2 . If all it takes is winning. Do we actually have to win a title before “they will come” ? **** is ridiculous what other schools are held to this win and they will come standard . Wasn’t UGA 6-6 the year before that monster class ?

I don’t believe we get Campbell or Surtain even if we went undefeated last year .

People keep acting like FSU hasn't always been doing this.

LOL

Jimbo's last 5 classes were top 5.

Is he a DT? Then IDGAF. Like I've said before a competent QB and a BA OL and DL wins championships in Miami. Skill players are a dime a dozen in SFL.

This is true. It goes back a lot longer than that as well. Boobah was consistently getting higher ratings than Butch, Jimmy, and Dennis. Didn't seem to help him much tho.

How would a TE going to UF be a "business decision" unless you are implying that UF is dropping bags too. Which i cant imagine because well... look at their class lol

UF has always dropped bags, they’re in just such a shltty state as a program right now kids are taking their appearance fees and shlt and then peacing out.

Also, boosters aren’t going to be too generous when 1) they don’t think the kid has any chance of coming and 2) the guys they have legit shots at are low 3 star types

Also, not every kid gets the nice bags. Those are reserved for TC, TS and the like

Two for Miami, two for others.

I'm finally feeling confident enough to pull the trigger on Mark-Antony Richards to Miami, that's been a long time coming. If you read the new Freshman 15, you know I believe Cornelius Nunn would already be committed right now if not for mom. I think eventually Miami wins her over and gets Nunn on board, his heart is here.

I've heard Tyrique Stevenson is close to making a public decision, so I'm going ahead and making the pick I've wanted to make for months and taking UGA. With Mike Morris, I don't see any way he ends up at FSU and Miami is starting to prioritize others while getting low on spots at DT. That leaves Michigan from his main contenders, so I'm going with the Wolverines.

Love Tyrique, but we need to plan as if he’s not coming. If MAR is open to Safety (please God!) then there’s our answer and we won’t miss a beat.

I understood when kids picked other schools under Golden but if kids don't pick Miami today, then there's something wrong with them mentally. We have the best HC in Florida and one of the best in the nation, a brand new indoor practice facility, the best NFL alumni base, the best education in Florida and one of the tops in the nation, warm weather year round, new freshman dorms, a newly renovated state of the art stadium, coaches that have proven they can develop and put stars into the league, a pro style offense, an aggressive defense, and last but not least all of your friends and family members can attend all your home games.

If these kids spur Miami now, they should not be allowed back into the city. Makes me sick to see local talent go to waste elsewhere. What better opportunity then to be home grown, ball out in front of your friends and family, have a great NFL career and retire back home where it all started. I have 100% confidence in Mark Richt and it's a shame these kids don't see the big picture.

My point exactly. But many want to blame the staff for not finding some magic potion to rub on the turncoats and make them loyal to the home team.

A sellout is a sellout. Can’t change that.

Yep.

Even if he ends up a first rounder, there's a major difference between a first rounder and a Sean Taylor.

Patrick Johnson was the one that really hurt.

And of course the two CBs last year from AH will hurt, too - those two will be really good.

DL recruiting is far more important to me anyway.

A QB can't complete it if he's on the ground.

And we've got some nasty DEs with more on the way.

TC is the only one with upside. PS and Boo Radley have topped a out from a physical stand point. TS is similar to TC but one player a year will never make or break the Canes. My $0.02...

Go Canes!
