And this the main reason we lose because we cant get multiple top kids. We get 1 5 star rc for example while elite programs get multiple 5 star than the following year they do it again for example Michel to georgia with a loaded deck. We cant recruit like those elite programs
 
Uh, Golden lives and works right in the middle of the national recruiting hot spot.

Is there any reason to believe if he could coach worth a ****, he couldn't soak up the top local talent?

Something we're missing, here. Something's not right.

Elite programs also have good coaching. Even with Miami losing some top S. FL players each year, there will always be more than enough talent available for a good coach to win national titles at Miami.

True. Golden gets a couple nice pulls and people crown him and ignore the fact that he has whiffed on the majority of big names he has gone after. Dude a few post above yours named 3 kids LMAO

The problem is the schools that dont get elite talent, but still succeed are not usually in BCS conferences and in turn are not given an opportunity to win it all. Boise St will always be the primary example. Even if they are not recruiting elite talent, there are schools that show significant success.
