Literally the worst QB we’ve faced & will face all yr. He just threw for 68 yrds against UNC last week, & has thrown 10 TDS & 9 ints in his past 7 games.

Like I’m not trying to be negative but ppl need to chill with all this “lightbulb/we found our footing” talk.

Just enjoy that the defense stepped up and chill with the declarations

Yes, both GT and Wake are not good, but GT’s game plan and coaching was night and day to Wake. GT’s secondary also played phenomenal. As much as I wish it was true, there was absolutely no light bulb moment today.

It was a struggle in the beginning.

Before the interception TD, they had given up 9 first downs, 4 third down conversions and a 4th down conversion.

Hopefully a switch did flip though.

I feel we are elite (which every D should be) when we know a pass is coming and we can get after the QB. Otherwise we struggle with teams that have multiple attacks and can mix it up with variety and motions.

How soon we forget 3rd & 18 against Ga.-Tech

I think Guidry took PT from the underperformers and moved players around to better suit their skillset. Should have done it earlier - Baron was a massive liability last few weeks, but better late than never.

They literally couldn’t get the ball out because of the pass rush. This defense is different with 3 at end and Alderman getting more snaps.
