Still need 1 more impact DT, DE, WR, LB and change of pace RB along with a scheme to optimize running options.

Bigger concern for me is a true freshman dictating a depth chart for at least two years

Henderson ran for 1300 yards as a freshman for OSU and now they’re in the championship game because they went and got Jenkins as well

Did we even get Lyle or did he not want to compete at OSU? Who knows. I don’t like it though even if I think Lyle will be good

I am not sure they will go more balanced. Beck saw what Ward did and that is why he's coming here. He wants to show his stuff, not be handcuffed with "balance". Don't get me wrong, I think we will run the ball, but it will look as much like last year as humanly possible. We just need to get a few more weapons to make it happen, because we lost a lot of talent at WR, TE, and RB with Martinez leaving.

Bottom line, you don't tinker with what was the #1 O in the country. You build on it. The last thing we need to do is dumb it down.

I agree with you, though. Fletcher has his moments, but I don't see him as THE #1 guy that we need moving forward. Now maybe with another year he can grow into that role, but like you said, if one of the other guys doesn't take a big step up, and Fletcher doesn't either, we should try to get a true workhorse that can carry the load if/when we need him to.
