no one can speak with certainty of an NFL future but the young man looked promising in his short time before the injury, he was making plays as a true freshman. its tough to make predictions on recovery not many guys ever have a freak injury like that occur

He showed good run after catch ability and speed in his first college game and was getting open and showing more promise against gt before the injury. I dont know how much more you expect from a guy who played like 3 games as a true freshman

He had 8 catches with an average of like 9 YPC. How much could he possibly have shown? LOL

did you watch the boston college game? again, he was injured 3 or 4 games in to his true freshman season i didnt say he put up calvin johnson numbers just that he showed some promise, why do you type LOL after every response? seems like something personal with you when it comes to this kid

I've never seen so much hype about a kid who caught 8 balls. It's nothing personal, it's just kind of annoying but funny to sit here and watch guys who've barely seen him play call him a stud and future NFL player.

Sure seems personal, i know you coached against him and have always thought Malcolm was no good, but to say he showed no promise his fresh,an year is ignorant. He absolutely flashed great potential with his speed a,img other things

Never said he was "no good", just didn't agree with the hype.

A gruesome injury like that takes time to heal mentally. There were a few plays last year when he was tackled he got up limping even though you could see there was no twist or anything of the sort so it was in his head. now that it's been a full year he can compete in Utough and Spring ball...i expect a BEAST!

He had one game....one.....I admit he showed flashes in that game of a good receiver he could be.....but he did play in a few more games before that devastating injury and he didnt show me ****.....folks were even claiming him to be better than dorsett....i dont see that at all!!!!

Lewis seemed like a solid possession receiver before his injury. The kinda guy who doesnt get a lot of catches but when he does hes converting 3rd downs and ****.

Nothing more than that.

This!!! From when I seem him play he was a solid possession kid who had a little bit of wiggle... Our fans are exaggerating his performance... He was never a burner... He was supposed to be a good route runner and had hands... He didn't play much but he caught the ball well... I don't know about a high pick... I never saw that...[/QUO

Thats what i mean....i dont think he is better than dorsett, but he has waay more wiggle than dorsett and thats all....folks just remember that screen pass vs bc and that was gold to them......bc defense wasnt all world but it was a nice play.....but claiming that we was the missing link.....? C'mon man

Waters is having a similar career to Hurns. That's who I would bet my dollar bill on.
