How many players have stepped on the field thus far in 2012? 47 total players, only 23 have seen the field thus far in 2012.
How many players are starting? 4 from 2009 (lol), 7 in 2010. 11 out of 47.

I'm not even going to get any deeper into it. It speaks for itself.

Tano's post is the argument ender. It is the sobering reality of where we are and why we are here. This is why nobody should compare Saban's second year at Alabama to Golden's second year. The only parallel is it is the second year.

God ****, Randy couldn't evaluate talent for ****. I would have better luck putting up scout.com's recruiting rankings and throwing darts.

how many of the 11 starters from those classes would be starters on a top 25 team? 2-4 maybe?

Kind of hard to compare The best coach in college football to an up and coming coach. The other thing hard to compare to is Miami has Sucked for so long now they couldn't get Alabama's recruits.

I am pretty sure that is how Randy recruited but he is just a worse dart player than you.

In 2010 it was so painfully obvious how many reaches he was taking because nobody wanted to play for him.

Nah bruh, it takes a certain attention to detail to put those classes together. He tried...he tried hard to get those classes.

I'm so glad Randy passed on guys like Jayron Hosley, who was dying for an offer, so we could land Prince Kent

SMFH

Were there not people saying at the time how bad those classes would be? And anybody here think Urban or Saban wouldnt kick these guys to the curb this year? We will be better next year no question, but bringing in at least 2 JUCO DL and 2 JUCO DE would make 2014 that much better.

Since we're just starting the 4:00 PM games, let's take a second look at these classes. Now we'll break it down by position. To save space, I'll leave out those whom are no longer in the program:

2009

WR

Jesus ******* Christ.

these might not be Cane material guys but **** Maine's defense did better against BC. sub division Mizzou schemed better for that K State offense. this list is why we can't compete for the ACC title. but we shouldn't be as horrible as we are on defense. putting LBs on WRs? having no one in the middle of the field against a QB like Collin Klein? never going 8 in the box while keeping a deep safety pretty much the entire time against a team that threw the ball 11 times and has run all over you? no ones expecting titles with these players, but the coaching has been horrible.
