Leonard Taylor committing 8/6

Him and the Palmetto kids were considered UF locks for awhile now, a few months ago things changed. They’re all finally realizing it now. I originally posted in May don’t believe the hype. They might get Collins but they won’t get much more, Taylor has starting trending our way at that point.

I also said UF has issues inside their recruiting room and to expect changes after this cycle.
Putting in that work!

Nothing to tell quite yet.. but he’s not trying to be shown up this recruiting cycle from what I hear. He’s hunting..
Marcus Tate....Marcus Tate....Marcus Tate.....

We are the stealthiest recruiting unit out there right now. After this early pop from Williams, nothing is impossible.

There’s still moving parts , I’ll just say this. From the total numbers right on down to guys being moved on from. There’s more than four guys who’ll be added.

Maybe Ishmael bypasses his Scholarship & comes in as a preferred walk-on since he can come to school for free based on his dad working at UM for a long time.

That opens up 1 scholly.

not happening. also a horrific look -- hes a 4 star kid. if he came on PWO or even gave up his athletic ship he doesnt get the same amount in remission.

This has crossed my mind , at least for a season. They think they can get the full amount.

it isnt tech for free which is the issue. room and board will have to paid by the family and same with books and other costs. the full athletic ship is more than a full academic ship. with covid not going away and their practice schedules, i doubt UM wants him living at home either

Unless pops gets a raise. That just happens to offset the cost of room and board

I remember we did this when Randy's son transferred from FIU, but couldn't remember if he still "counted" in the same ways we think about.

good luck explaining that to the NCAA that you just happened to give a raise to a UM employee who works at the campus where there is a hiring freeze after the entire AD took payouts due to covid

also in this scenario, he'd be a reg student not on athletic ship, how does that work with the extra benefits that athletes get (which is paid for by the athletes ship -- training table, etc.)? they get more meals than normal students paying room and board and have access to the special nutritional stuff. its not his job to give up a well earned ship. thats on the coaches to make it work.

He's a 4-star kid who's dad has worked at UM for 17 years, he's also our most humble recruit and may not be worried about how it's perceived.

Have him apply for scholarships, give his dad a raise, he will not be paying 70K+ in the event we do go down that road.

If I were in his position and I could do something to help the program before I'd even put on a practice jersey, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

You gonna have to space these out more so I can do some laundry and have some of these buttons sewn back onto my pants...

Even members of the football team?
