There is a lot of pessimism going on here. If Miami had just pulled out the uva game, we would be 6-1 and favored to win the coastal. We still have a decent chance to win it. We will end up with a top twelve recruiting class. Three in a row. We are the best we have been in fifteen years. Things don’t change overnight..

We just took 10 steps back as a program by losing to ******* UVA in year 3 of Richt.

If we lose Friday (which is very likely) the wheels will fall off.

No reason to be optimistic right now.
 
We are struggling to win the Coastal and Bama is steamrolling teams and winning National Championships. Enough said

Yes, we expect to land the guy who has been a huge Cane lean for months from a pipeline school who supposedly has also been a silent for months keeping our coaches from going hard after other DT targets.

You must be new to recruiting, b/c this **** happens every year, and it takes a MFing toll on us die hards.

We've had some real bonehead recruiting stories over the past few regimes. I've never seen a school come off as so ill prepared for recruiting than Miami post Butch. They are always getting sniped, outmaneuvered, and outplayed by the teams that come down here n cherry pick.

I get that some kids are on the take...I know from first hand experience. But fvck man, even if so, we have been negligent in evaluations and at times lazy af on the trail over the past three regimes. Just buffoonery in recruiting room, rarely having backup plans. This is why you see a **** ton of Miami-Dade and Broward kids go play for mid-tier P5 and ball out almost immediately. Miami didn't even give them the time of day once the summer rolled out.

Why don’t ya quote me there buddy boy, and no i aint new to recruiting i have buddies that have gone through it and kids that i take care of too, ive seen everything there is to it, and it comes to the exact point that you win some you lose some it happens to every program not just us, so stop crying and saying the program is never going to be the same blah blah blah suck it up and move on

I was replying to Cuban Cane right above my post.

Not crying at all, just laughing at how the same **** happens every year, then we got some tough guy posters who call people pussies when we know what is coming.

Oh and losing most of the truly elite talent (2-3 guys a cycle) from your area to out of state schools pretty much only happens to us.

They already convinced themselves that we’ll hit on most of our remaining targets including Neal and Stevenson. We’ll be lucky to get three out of Haselwood, Bogle, Richards, Neal, Stevenson, Weaver, Summerall

How many times has Richt successfully recruited the top player from Dade, Broward or WPB over the last three years?

Answer: 0 for 9

Our issue is this.

Miami waits all night for the 9.5 smoke show at the club that just sucked down $250 in drinks on its dime that has her driver waiting at the door to take her back to her millionaire boyfriends house. Instead of taking the 8 that was striking up a conversation at the bar with them at 10pm, they end up with the lowly 4 - 3 in the light - at 3am when its time to make a decision. Its was either that, or go home and rub one out...but you gotta fill spots.

I do know what is coming.

We will not land $tevenson and will most likely whiff on Neal, and have scrubs for back up plans.

I will be the first one in here to say I was wrong and eat the most delicious crow ever if we do.

I've just been following this **** since 2002 and know how it goes, especially when the usual suspects get involved with recruits, especially when they seem like they are on the take ($tevenson).

You can call me a ***** all you want if it makes you feel tough, I don't give a ****.

Brother, he's been ******* horrendous. Made this exact post at the end of last cycle when we missed out on Campbell.

Its becoming embarrassing and its not just a "bag man" or some other inevitable trend...Miami is simply getting outplayed in this game. If this were Survivor, they are getting voted off the island first because they were too dumb to make a friend on the first day.
