I think Alabama is the IT school and attracts front runners. Unfortunately, a lot of the best 18 year olds are front runners.

It's also part of the reason why most of Alabama's studs flame out in the pros - they haven't tasted adversity. They don't have that dog in them and don't know how to react when the chips are down.

The sad part is that he’ll likely want to come here in a year or 2 once he realizes he was never recruited to be a starter there, he’s just a body to them and they will recruit over him this year and next. Richt has shown that he won’t be a plan B so I guess he’ll end up at Louisville or somewhere like that...

Yeah it’s a tired excuse that is no longer true. Bama players are doing well and fine in the NFL. At the beginning they did have some major busts though.
