Bama rolled out the red carpet for him before he finalized his decision and it clearly had a huge impact. Our staff apparently didn't have any such urgency to do the same, despite knowing for months that he intended to announce his commitment on his mother's birthday.

Alright time to stop being some *******. We cried about it enough already. Time to move on. Good news is we got 4 months almost. Time to move on and expand our board. Look through the DT rankings and many good ones still available. Gotta stop crying about kids leaving if we wanna hold this U to a certain standard. Let go fellas it’s still us against them **** em all we gon be alright no matter what we the baddest ****** team out here. We inspire ****** to copy us all over the country and we definitely got the most swag and the biggest dawgs. Know our worth fellas we the U. When U you refer to us as the U and everyone knows what’s up all over the country and even the world. No need to cry about 17 and 18 year olds we will get more. By your definition, they would've been mercenaries as they didn't sign with the local team.

You want to be the best, you've gotta best the best. That is Bama right now and in head to head recruiting martchups, we're fighting an uphill battle. The coaches and players have to narrow that gap and when it looks like we're getting close, you have a better shot at these types of recruits.

It's so funny and ironic. I hate the defeatist attitude. KEEP IT REAL, WE SUCK AND THEY DON'T. When we were beasting, every kid wanted to be here. The best want to play w/ the best. That's why Duke gets all the top kids in basketball, b/c Coach K pumps out first round picks and is a proven winner. That's why Bama gets a the top kids b/c Saban pumps out first round picks and is a proven winner. When USC was beasting, every kid around the nation wanted to be there. It is what it is. Bags play a part, but got ****, we can't keep hiding behind that excuse.

Lmao I remember when shoelace was getting recruited at Deerfield. On signing day this man showed up in full UF gear head to toe. All coaches and teammates said it’s all Florida and urban..2:30 comes around this man waking outta school in a mich starter jacket. I’ll wait for tomorrow. Nothing suprises me lol

Don't do that. That is Bama. Unfortunately they are the gold standard. The allure for these kids to go there, win a championship and get drafted is real. I'm sure the bags are top notch. The whip game is on lock. Kul is just a relationship he already had when Kul was here.

This sucks *** but it is what it is. Guys on here joke all the time how Kentucky must hate us from taking a few guys they thought they had. Bama does this to everybody. Few battles are won when Bama really wants a kid. It's time to get a replacement if Ingraham indeed picks Bama. I'm still hoping something changes between now and tomorrow ****.

This is another lesson that the staff needs to cast a wider net for guys. Locking down SoFL is great in theory but when the crown jewel of a position group leaves town the staff can't continue to be left holding their d!@k$ in their hands. The only bonus is that it's happening in Oct. And it's still time to pursue other DT. We need to find a stud whether it be from HS, Juco or transfer.

Simpson seems like a good coach and has our dline looking good but he hasn't proved anything when it comes to recruiting. Don't have one big name DT recruit right now. I'm worried about his recruiting skills. He doesn't have much experience recruiting.

Simple as that. Nothing to do with Jess vs Kul, ACC vs $EC, or any other comparables.
