He’s going to Auburn, Alabama. What do you want him to praise other than crowd size in a town with nothing else to do, in a state with nothing else to do?? The education? The culture? The diversity?
When a person is praising crowd size they are already reaching deep into the bag of shi**y reasons to be happy.

Would imagine there is plenty of stuff to do in a college town as a college student.

Those 2nd tier schools that are in the SEC sure love to push the conference angle!

Hey come here so you can go 6-6 and get the crap beat out of you by Alabama and Georgia! Yay
Come to Auburn and be stuck in the 2nd tier of the conference and get sodomized regularly by the likes of Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss and UGA. But hey the stadium is crazy and always packed since there's absolutely nothing else to do in this remote hillbilly mecca.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, MI, and went to U of M (and UM, not to be confused). By the time I was done with school that place felt like it was about 100 people. College towns get real small really quickly. I’m not saying it does not have some appeal, and college towns are great to raise kids. But as a young adult it felt like Mayberry.

Beautiful campus. Solid college town. Smoking hot co-eds. Better football program. Better conference. Decision, respeKted (seems like JAG anyway tbh)...

/The majority of students find college towns more appealing than metropolitan cities like Miami. Doesn't make them wrong, just different.

Lots of bars like every other college town. Your big city is Columbus, GA. Maybe make it to the ATL once. These young men often don't really know what they want/need. I certainly didn't have my ducks in a row at that age.
Not sure if I wanted him as a Cane or not.

The kid will be out of there by December as a grad transfer with 1-year of eligibility remaining. Never saw it with this kid.

People act like the only places that have things to do are Miami and LA. He's a college kid, in a college town with a bunch of other college kids. He will find plenty to do.

I’m glad you’re looking out for him and Auburn.
Not looking out for him or Auburn. I don't like the argument player X shouldn't go to school Y because there is nothing to do there. Another one I don't like is Miami fans don't go to games because there is so much to do in Miami. Like you're not going to watch the game then spend the next 4 hours complaining about it on CanesInsight

Everybody always says their is plenty to do in these college towns, but majority of Clemson players I knew from past talked about how boring it was, and they would go to Charlotte or Atlanta any chance they got.

I know UGA pushes ATL is less than an hour away also.

Maybe he is frugal and figured he could save money on TP with inflation as high as it is and just pick up TP for free

You raise a very good point. ****, when there were shortages during COVID, I was considering a move to Auburn just for the free toilet paper...
