Kiko + Wesley combo

Opposing offensive coordinators have exposed Kiko in space with wheel routes etc-

Dude has more whiffs this year than Gerritt Cole.

Bissainthe has played well.

Honest question, what makes you think those same players won’t have guaranteed spots or that there may be changes
Because we were using the "if it aint broke, dont fix it" theory at 9-0..now that we lost and looked absolutely horrible in the back 7 there must be some competition for spots..Its what Mario hitched his wagon to..that every spot was up for grabs every week and he was going to push guys to compete..after that **** poor performance..time to put up or shut up.. (read somewhere that it was the most rushing yards we had given up since UNC in 2020 which is WILD to me)..

This is a very embarrassing loss. No way around it. To get beat by a one-dimensional team? But the season isnt over and can be salvaged. We win the next two games and get to Charlotte and people will forget about this loss. Quickly.

I’m biased towards the LBs but often times the difference between people going “omg he’s so ******* slow” and “omg look how fast and aggressive he is” is just as simple as the player knowing where they’re supposed to be going
Also adding the ability to take good angles and finish tackles.

If Kiko would just make 30% of the tackles he’s in position for, instead of taking a terrible angle and straight up whiffing or falling off like a 165Lbs corner, he wouldn’t get as much hate.

I tell ya brother

Watching him tackle this year…I’ve got nothing. Absolutely nothing. I watch a lot of college these days and tackling in general is really bad, but still

At first I thought maybe something he re-injured. When these guys have bad shoulder injuries and maybe tweak it, it makes you not wanna make the hit. But I just can’t find excuses watching him this year unless we find out after the season he’s got a torn labrum or something

Who said that? Meesh Powell’s entire off grade is based on him getting ticked for the safety opposite him not taking handoffs lmao. OJ know’s his stuff. So does Wesley and a few of the young guys. But a good defense requires everybody in unison. In the nfl it literally only takes 1 guy off in coverage for you to get beat. In d1 football it’s about the same but we have 3 guys every snap who freestyle

Are you implying Meesh is out of position b/c he's trying to make up for Harris being out of position? My goodness we are in a heap of problems if there's no consequence for constant mistakes on the field. No backups is killing us.

I'm also wondering if our guys are practicing too hard...they play like they have dead legs and no energy.
I wonder about that as well. We know Mario likes to have physical practices and we also have had bad Novembers since he got here. Maybe they need to taper down a bit more second half of the year.

So this is a thing now? Pat Riley and Jimmy Johnson are experiencing chest pains tonight. While we're at it, should we stop tackling in practice? Good lord is that funny BB material for another forum.

What happened to this player, what happened to that player? When you’re asking questions like that it’s speaks to a bigger problem
Bruh is the same player as last year north and south. He doesn’t have some lateral movement. Popo is our best LB that can do everything. We need him back ASAP. But Kiko has always been this player bruh.

Kiko had shoulder surgery and gained too much weight this off season. I believe that has played a part in his regression this season. Anyone saying Bissainthe has played well hasn't been watching either. He's still over pursing like he's on skates and no reading **** right. Give me Popo, Pruitt, Washington, and Alderman over both those guys. Also need a ******* end that will set an edge properly. There's no **** excuse getting beat this bad off the edge and with sweeps at the college level.
