20 wasn’t the answer, eitherGuidry said he lets his guys/coaches control their units but he doesnt like to sub his unit (safeties) at all. We stuck with Meesh and #7

I think that might show that it's not exactly about who I'd playing in those positions....it's more about how they are being lined up and used. JMOThey tried everything in the first quarter. Alderman was out there, Chase was out there, Pruitt was out there. I actually thought Bissainte was out at first.
Edited to add, I even had a Bobby Washington sighting on an early down.
It didn't seem to matter a whole lot.
Then this should have been known before if we were "All in".. None of these guys can get the job done but why is everyone sooo confused when the DC is coaching them up?20 wasn’t the answer, either
Crazy message board wahoos can put that together but coaching staff cant 10games into season. We blitzed Kiko more last year. He had 7.5 sacks. Now he's in coverage, guarding backs one on one downfield or on crossing routes. He's the same guy he was last year but we let him play downhill. Now we are playing him like he's Fred Warner. He's not that type of player and idk why the coaches don't see that.
It’s coaching. A lot of the time they are not able to make plays bc they aren’t in position pre snap. Not saying Kiko and Wesley aren’t limited, but if they aren’t in position pre snap it doesn’t matter who is playing. They tried everything in the first quarter. Yall killed the guy who was the coach in the locker room and ran him off for a player worse than him lolIt’s coaching. Who?Yall killed the guy who was the coach in the locker room and ran him off for a player worse than him lol
Corey Flagg. Was responsible for **** near everybody being lined up and knowing their assignments even when he wasn’t in the game. And is having a better season at his current stop than Kiko.Who?

This isn’t about just knowing your assignment this is about scheme/coaching and how we are out leveraged almost every play. Corey Flagg would not have helped.Corey Flagg. I disagree wholeheartedly with everything you just said. But I have been on this side of it from the jump and my stance won’t change so we don’t have to debate it. Guidry needs to be better absolutely he’s stinking it up. But those are division 1 football players who don’t know to read keys. This isn’t about just knowing your assignment this is about scheme/coaching and how we are out leveraged almost every play. So nobody on the defense does? That’s still on the staff as you need to recruit higher football iq guysI disagree wholeheartedly with everything you just said. Who said that? Meesh Powell’s entire off grade is based on him getting ticked for the safety opposite him not taking handoffs lmao. OJ know’s his stuff. So does Wesley and a few of the young guys. But a good defense requires everybody in unison. In the nfl it literally only takes 1 guy off in coverage for you to get beat. In d1 football it’s about the same but we have 3 guys every snap who freestyleSo nobody on the defense does? That’s still on the staff as you need to recruit higher football iq guys
It doesn’t look to me like anybody knows. Guys are constantly look lost, not understanding what the offense is doing, consistently blowing assignmentsWho said that? Scheme????
I have a feeling after a loss like this..nobody on the back 7 has a guaranteed spot. Everyone job is up for grabs.Alderman played well. He had five tackles & 4 assists. He was physical & definitely did not look lost. He should be rotated in more.
I think it would help Kiko & Wes if they get spelled more. Need Popo back. Kiko also should not be asked to cover so much on passing downs.
Decent? LolWesley has been decent.
Kiko = McCloud. Someone prove me wrong
