Think so?

Haven't seen him play at Alabama at all, and while they have DUDES there, its not like there aren't snaps to be had. Slade Bolden gets meals for days and when injuries happened, it was true freshman Jacorey Brooks getting burn.

His junior film was really good, but his senior film...sure he was getting lots of attention...was only aight. Think he'd be better off at a G5, but I guess we'll see.
TJB not cutting it competing against the best of the best at Bama wouldn't place him at the G5 level....I think that's taking it a bit far.

Not so long ago Bamas 2021 best WR was beat out by competition at Ohio State...now he's likely a 1st round pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

If TJB transfers, I'm with @htownkidd on taking this kid ALL DAY if he wants in

They were stupid af and went for the easy takes.....shows signs that they didn't want to work on the trail and fight for them.

From what I remember he was interested but we wanted more size in the class and went with Ezzard lol. But who knows what was really going on

Except TJB doesn't have three legit R1 WRs directly in front of him (JSN, Wilson, and Olave), he's got Slade Bolden, Traeshon Holden, Javon Baker, etc.. Its not the same. TJB is buried deep on the depth chart, and Metchie/Williams isn't a point of conversation...he's much further behind.

Taking Alabama's WR10(!!!!) and saying he's a take at Miami is wild to me, brother. There are people that are hard passing on Frank Ladsen and he's made a few plays at the college level. For comparison sake, Ladsen was WR4 for Clemson in 2020 (was injured a lot of 2021) and Jameson Williams was WR3 at Ohio State in the limited COVID season (would have been WR4 this year with JSN emerging). Again, these are not samesies. Yall pounding the table to get Xavier Williams? Sometimes, a South Florida WR going to Alabama isn't that good. They can't all be Calvin Ridley and Amari Cooper.

Alabama boards also supposedly talking about going into the portal again and getting a WR.

If TJB was legit, he'd be playing.

Pope was ranked 43 and the 8th best WR in the country by 247. Wasn’t just Pete driving the hype. Revisionist history all we want Pope looked special at that point in time. He didn’t pan out, and that is ok.

Miami felt Elijah Moore was redundant after taking Harley and Jt4 and bringing in Pope in the 2018 class. Wanted more size and went with Ezzard. They ignored Moore, who was committed to UGA for a while. They did make a late to the party push for Tyquan Thorton who ended up Baylor

Xavier Williams isn't too far off, for me.

Thaiu Jones-Bell looking like it, too.

Just to point out that we're not the only onces duped by these jabrones.
I'm not sure about Jones-Bell, but Xavier Williams dominated in high school, unlike **** and Wiggins. The problem with Williams is that his best position is DB, not WR.

Wasn’t it Richts call not to recruit him?

I agree with this. I thought he was a bit overrated coming out as a WR. He's been injured in college, so I guess we'll never know. idk where he's portal jumping to, but I doubt its P5. These types of guys (deep deep Bama transfers) seem bound for G5 like USF or something.

We really haven't seen either of these guys at Alabama, but these deep deep depth chart guys at awesome programs aren't exactly going to other P5 programs and my point is Jameson Williams and Frank Ladsen aren't "deep deep depth chart guys" as comparison points. These guys were WR3/4 types. TJB was WR10. Xavier Williams was a medical. Just not similar and idk (IMO, no, but I'm at least willing to hear someone out) if I'm taking them at Miami at this point. Ladsen...sure. TJB...IMO, nah.
