Haven't seen him play at Alabama at all, and while they have DUDES there, its not like there aren't snaps to be had. Slade Bolden gets meals for days and when injuries happened, it was true freshman Jacorey Brooks getting burn.

Coleman reminds me a bit of (a poor man’s) Marvin Harrison.

Similar size, precision route running, top notch hands, the way they track the ball. Harrison had better top end speed (hence, why Coleman is poor man’s).

Do I think he can play here? Yes

Do I think he got over recruited? **** yes, lol. The class they signed in 2021 was ridiculous and the guys they just signed are ridiculous as well. Freshmen have already passed him up and if you are a skill guy there that doesn’t play in first 2 years, the writing is on the wall there buddy.


I really like the UTEP kid, and there will be more that leave after Spring so we will probably see better options than him. BUT, again..I think that he can play here. JMO.

Pope’s rating and subsequent on field play reminds me (for you old heads out there) of willie Dixon. 90s big time recruit out of Cali, could fly, but was awful when you threw the pads on.

At least Pope caught a few TDs here. I'm not sure Dixon ever even saw the field before transferring to a JC.
