Belichick’s roster construction the last half decade of his Pats’ tenure was ******* abysmal. Color me a little skeptical of him and Lombardi being able to put a good roster together. UNC probably just had Ryan Switzer highlights on a loop to subliminally convince him.

A lot of butthurt dolphin fans on here. If you watched the early Patriot SB teams you’d know it was defense winning. Especually the first one. Tom handed the ball ball off all game and was the definition of a game manager. Yes he became an amazing passer later down the road but the Pat’s franchise started with elite defense. You’re on drugs if you don’t think Bledsoe doesn’t get a couple rings as the starter with that defense. Not six like Brady but you get the point. Great coaches need great players just like most great players need great coaching and a stable environment.

So he was part of drafting and developing the greatest QB ever and the greatest Defensive player ever.... Won Superbowls with both.... But yea I can see how people think he sucks...
