Also, I was very, VERY high on Kam. Everyone was so fixated on James, but that Kam was rarely talked up. To me, he looked like the better S & more natural. He’s only going to get better. A true Sophomore as a 1st team AA. Love to see it.

You could tell from the moment he stepped on the field that he just had the instincts

I remember reading the practice reports before his first season and I’m like uh…this kid gets at least 1 INT every practice but we aren’t talking about him?

Seems like a more physical JJ to me in ways, really looking forward to seeing him keep improving
 
Kitchens is about the only guy that bought into Mario. On gameday, he was also the only player that actually looked like he wanted to play. I'm glad his hard work paid off. I hope the rest Manny's guys take note of this and follow Kitchens footsteps

Not many of Manny's players will be left, add that to the portal guys and we have a new Cane mindset and team......Mario's....

Was Kams season better than Jaquan’s in 17 or 18? How does kams Season stack up historically here?

For me this Young cat is a Superstar potentially, only a True sophomore. The growth from true year one to true year two was a leap I can’t remember seeing at Miami in my lifetime (I’m only 28)

In every bum season we have someone who shows out and gives me a reason to be at least moderately intrigued.

2010- Leonard Hankerson and Sean Spence
2011- Lamar Miller and Sean Spence
2012- Freshman Duke Johnson
2014- Duke Johnson with the best Canes season in the last decade
2018- The Gerald Willis year
2019- Gregory Rousseau dominating
2021- Tyler and Rambo show
2022- Kam

This list tells me that we often suck. Hopefully that changes

Yea but kam only a true sophomore. That’s what separates him from the list you named. And tbh It’s more impressive in my opinion to stand out nationally on a bad team as an individual than it is to get recognized nationally while being on great team with great players around you. That’s just me tho

Such a stud - on and off the field! He plays with a fight, purpose, and passion that the greats have. So excited to see what players follow his lead.

I had young guys on there. Greg was a redshirt freshman as was Tyler last year. Duke in 2012 was a true freshman.

Regardless I'm with you that Kam is amazing and hopefully Mario is right in that he'll surround Kam with more guys like him.
