Kaaya the Messiah

How many games can Kaaya play and still redshirt with an upper/lower extremity issue? Of course he can ball out and own the job for the next 3 years, but if he struggles and R. Williams is healthy by Nebraska and replaces him, I would hope Kaaya could still save his RS if he only played 3 games.

We got a bad *** in Kaaya. I just wanted the best guy all along, and I'm glad Kaaya separated himself from Heaps, who is a journeyman.

As long as he doesn't completely seize up on the big stage with the band playing we will be fine. Let's not forget that UL is breaking in s brand new starter at QB too.

I'm stunned. Not so much about the decision, more that it was made.....

Nice picture. All in while making the U!

Ability to see down the field is the biggest thing that separated Kaaya from Heaps according to Coley @TheStateOfTheU
This is ******* huge IMO.

we have one of the best downfield receiving groups in the country. Dorsett might be a bit of a one trick pony, but that pony is pretty ******* explosive. Coley and Waters can get down as well, especially when we have a receiving threat at TE and in the slot. Nothing wrong with trying to keep the offense simpler for him and letting our guys make plays, but a QB that can get the ball downfield with accuracy, can do serious ******* damage with this group.

Thank you, @PeterAriz you've been in Brad's corner to the point of going down with the ship. You remind me of Brad. #Conviction

Once he plays, regular red-shirt is given up unless he gets injured. If he gets a season ending injury by end of game 3, then he can apply for medical hardship/redshirt.

I admit, I said that if it was close I would feel a lot more comfortable if Heaps, with his experience, was named the starter. Obviously, the coaches feel that he is ready and they see a lot more of him in practice than any of us, so that is good enough for me.

It must not have been all that close because I'm sure the coaches would have preferred experience at QB too.

I don't think enough is being made about his reaction to the news.

That is so unexpected and so freaking boss.

We would al be jumping for joy. The guy looks at coley in the eye and tells him yes sir?

R u ***cing kidding me? That's my field general right there.

I honestly feel if Kayaa can compete with our Defensive Athletes, he can compete with anybody in the country. I have a feeling Kayaa is going to abuse Lousiville D. the man makes incredible reads. goes through all progressions. allow the plays to create themselves. im so ready!

Then he went back to his room with bubble guts and sprayed out a diarrhea.

Game 4. It's 30% rounded up. That means 4.

Why would the expectations for kaaya be lower than any other Miami QB? I wish the kid luck, but no free passes just because of his age.

Not sure if serious.

those that saw practice say that Kaaya was 'by far'( their words) the best guy. I was told that about 3 weeks ago. I said to this guy,"You think Golden has the balls to start a true freshman, on the road, prime time audience versus a team that just emasculated us 9 months ago?" His reply:'It would take more balls for him not to." That answer left me stunned

Im glad Golden and Co are going with Kaaya and playing to their convictions

UM isnt just playing for now, but also the future

Regardless of how this turns out in the short term, I love this decision
