Kaaya the Messiah

Happy for Kaaya. Thought Heaps would win the battle. Now that he's the man, time to win now. No excuses.

If you aren't excited, you are either dead or just an *******.

My phone didn't just beep when I got the alert, it ran and jumped in my hand.

Go Canes!

My smartphone started buzzing nonstop at 3 am and wouldn't let me go back to sleep. Too excited anyway. lol

i'd be surprised if he didn't transfer and sit out this year somewhere else. being it's so close to the start of school, that might not be possible. i don't expect him here for spring practice.

@TrinidadBrad: Appreciate the support from everyone. Ready to attack week 1 with my brothers! #1Heartbeat

If he is planning on it now is time, officially this year didn't start. Or else he's out til 2016.

Another brilliant assumption. That's why so many freshman start. I hope he's baby Jesus from day one but let's not act like Tom Brady just walked in from the patriots to give us the no excuses line.

sadly, olsen isn't staying here. i'd be surprised if he isn't gone before the 1st game.

Why is that sad?

He has no future here. At all. For the first two games we have Kaaya and Heap. RW will prolly be healthy enough to dress for Game 3 or so. Olsen would be 4th on the chart.

He has no future. If he left right now it would actually be good for Miami because we could shave off another ship before the start of the season and take 7 of the 9 ships this year, which is ideal. I think we are at like 79 right now...depending on whether Grimsley is on ship or not.

Ok so we went from complaining that we didn't have enough blue chip qb prospects on the roster to weather injuries and transitions to now thinking it would be good after this year to have no real juniors or seniors on the team. Let's give up on the 4 star qb because he's wasting a scholarship? I think he has made dumb mistakes but I'll take the depth thanks, especially with kaaya not having thrown one pass in a game yet :/

sounds right. No one gets hurt, kaaya is a sure thing.

You guys don't realize this team still needs Olsen! After this season Williams and Heaps are gone leaving the Canes with Kayaa and Rosier and Lawson. If Olsen transfers and Kayaa gets hurt next season we'll be back to square one (look at when Jacory got hurt vs Virginia) we need Olsen to provide depth, and if he really loves the U like he says he does he will stay and battle. Competition is what breeds success.
