The real question is does our recruiting suffer with our current lack of WRs now that we can't sell the QB card anymore?

We were selling the QB card? For how much? Wheelbarrows of Venezuelan paper money?

"Great opportunity to showcase your talent! On 3rd and ten, IF you are the first option, you might have a ball thrown within your grasp, short of the chains, with an immediate opportunity to run over four defenders !" :sneakiness:

Lmao. I'm in tears man. Lol

I do not watch the NFL much anymore but it's staggering how ****** the QB play is outside of the few guys that have been at the top for so long. I don't think Kaaya has starter material but why not make the jump? He's not going to suddenly move faster or not get swallowed up at slight pressure. He may as well move on and start learning.

Hope he respresents.

Disappointing but it's his life.

I thank him for choosing the Hurricanes and leaving the program better than he found it. His legacy here will be incomplete, though, and he passed up the chance to do something special.

No way Perry is 185. That kid needs serious work if he's going to start and survive with another potentially ****** offensive line.

**** Kaaya.

Prior to the bowl game I was desperate for him to come, but the bowl game proved to me he's nothing more than a game manager of a QB. We win when he deos the bare minimum that should be asked of a Miami QB with all the weapons surrounding him.

He's the lamest, least inspirational, least big game player I've ever seen. So long as we have another game managing QB who can give our playmakers the ball and avoid TO's. We'll be fine.

better than he found it? we were 9-4 the year before he took over lol the 4 losses came with duke and dorsett injured and morris playing on one leg.

You heard it hear first, My money is on Evan Shirreffs as the starter next fall. If not Evan then Malik Rosier needs to step up his game this spring or he may riding the bench for the rest of his time here.

And the offense will be just fine, he is just as cerebral as brad, has a decent arm and is athletic so he can run.

Not to mention it gives Jack Allison another year to learn the offense and allows UM to definitely red shirt Perry because he needs to add weight.

Go Canes

Hope one of Allison, Perry or Weldon steps up and seizes oppty. As many QB's have shown this year, a FR can step in and play.

After the first quarter of the bowl game Kaaya was lights out. After summer practices Richt said it was Brad and everyone else a distant second. Miami will miss Kaaya next year.

Wish Kaaya all the best...time for a change.

All u clowns hating on the kid, get a life. He did his best..

kaaya wasnt leading us anywhere in 17 anyway. 18 is our year.

Whomever leads the offense, the fan base expects a visit to Charlotte and a New Year's Six Bowl. They also expect to beat FSU at the Doak. It might have been easier with Kaaya. OTOH, Kaaya was brought in by Coley to run Golden's offense. Richt may have other ideas, which he may be trying to sell to the Under Armor children.

He is as soft as his boy Golden was.
