Kaaya gone

Too much to ask a true freshman without the benefit of a Spring to start for this team. My guess is Weldon or Rosier starts, only because I get the feeling the staff is not high on Allison for whatever reason.

Not surprised. Like thousands of Canes fans I stuck around for the trophy presentation after the Russell Athletic Bowl. When Tom Luginbill mentioned the, "One more year...one more year..." chant to Kaaya on the podium, Kaaya's words were awkward and his facial expression more or less gave away that he had already decided to depart.

I don't see how he fares any better than Jarred Goff but I wish him well. Hope I am wrong.

He came in when the program was leaking oil but he stuck to his commitment. Plenty on this board weee sweating bullets when he looked at Utah or figured UCLA would grab him. He also performed well with what is now proven as sub-standard coaching .

All that and he comported himself well.

His stock could only fall next year, plus a chance of injury. lets face it, "new coach" and "bad OL" wasnt a straight faced excuse for his play this year. "Second year coach" and "better OL" would be a worse excuse next season.

I seriously cant imagine we are at any disadvantage with Kaaya leaving. If we have worse QB play in 2017, its a sign of concern. ****, FSU might have to use a pencil when they write a preseason "W" on their schedule against us now, instead of a pen.

The real question is does our recruiting suffer with our current lack of WRs now that we can't sell the QB card anymore?
 
This is the best thing that could happen, Coach Richt is going to have a mobile qb that can run his offense the way its suppose to, and also the qbs on the roster are all going to push each other and get better bc they want the top spot.

I dunno ... there's something about this Weldon cat that makes me think he's gonna turn some heads. Love the fact that we'll have a true competition and not just handing over the reigns

have u watched bowl games? it maks u realize brad is not that good. he floats balls, processes the game slow, he locks onto a wr and if its not open, he is lost. im sorry this kid is not that good.
