Allison is only 200. Supposedly perry is 185 now but dont know if its accurate. If he is 185 now he can get to at least 200-205 by time the season starts.

My take is Allison with a good dose of Rosier with running packages. Then 2018 wide open with a battle of Allison/Perry/Weldon. Though my gut says that Sherrieffs is a dark horse in all this. Gotta love CFB.

Perry needs a year. That's why we should be rooting for Rosier and not Allison

Rosier will have had two full years of working with Richt and learning the ins and outs of being a QB by the time next season rolls around. Call me crazy, but I think he is Stephen Morris 2.0 (who would have CRUSHED it in a Richt offense)

He's 6'3" and 175lbs....soaking wet.
 
Why are most canes fans hating on brad kaaya. What games are yall watching? This guy was a good QB for us problem is he's a west coast shotgun type QB. I dont get it yall say hes garbage but want him back? Which one is it? Stop hating on the man. He'll be our 1st canes drafted guaranteed and a 1st or 2nd round pick. And anyone who wants to put money hes 1st canes to get drafted let me know.

Things never go as planned... The ideal situation was another year with Kaaya and Perry/Allison battling out the subsequent year. Now we gotta hope one of them is ready right now.

I'm just waiting the excuses that will fly when we hear one QB is edging ahead another. I imagine the one that will be used for Rosier is "Richt is only leaning his way because of seniority"

I think he can get better with more reps. Nice thing is that if he can roll out of the pocket and run he will have much easier windows to throw in. Doesn't have to have pinpoint accuracy to be a successful college qb.

Best shot to win the QB battle -

1. Allison - If he makes a big leap in the offseason and spring, IMO the job is his.

2. Perry - Ton of talent. Would Richt risk starting a late enrollee Freshman in his second year, when there will be a ton of pressure to win the Coastal and at least 10 wins?

3. Weldon - Sleeper candidate. Gamer, Tough, under rated

4. Rosier - If Allison, Perry, and or Weldon can't prove themselves throughout the spring or fall camp. Possibility that he might focus on Baseball only too?
