There's absolutely no reason for people to think this game is a slam dunk for Kansas St. They are primarily a running team, our run defense isn't that bad. Their secondary and defensive line are very weak, and our offense was very successful against them last year. They won 10 games last year but they were 8-1 in games decided by 7 points or less. Those trends generally don't hold up over time. They had a very favorable +/- in turnovers last year, which helped them pull off so many close games.

All Miami needs to do is protect the football, execute better on defense, and let the superior athletes bring this thing home. KState should definitely be favored, but this one should be close and there's no reason Miami can't win.

Like I said before I think the difference is Morris. Jacory had a good game stats wise but we were dreadful on 3rd downs. Morris will make a few more plays than Jacory did. Sad to say it but we are just going to have to tighten up in the Red Zone on D. They will probably move the ball with success against us between the 20's so we just need to hold them to FG's.

Our defense was terrible last year and it came down to one play at the end.

Yeah it's on the road, but I think Golden's teams are mentally tough enough now to not have an adverse environment play a role.

Maybe I'm drinking the kool aid, but I feel decent enough about our chances, especially if the young guys can fix their blown assignments from BC
