I think Morris is the difference though. We are going to really struggle at times to stop them but Morris will be able to keep us in it until we can get a TO or a big stop.

Everytime we have a thread like this the homers always say, "oh they barely beat so and so last week, were gonna have 50 on them no problem" and then the team comes out and looks like a MNC team and ends up being a close game or we get spanked like Maryland last year

I doubt they showed much with better teams on the horizon. Reality is that they play a deceptive offense with a qb who has multiple skills. This is a far greater challenge than a BC offense which was straightforward. It will take a significant leap from our D to keep them below 30 points. Our offense probably won't be on the field much as I expect them to dominate TOP. We'll need some turnovers, explosion plays, and sound red zone D--I doubt even our coaches expect us to be able to do anything with their offense.
 
K State barely beat Eastern Kentucky last year in their opener. Score was 10-7

And they still beat us at home. So their game yesterday is pretty much meaningless imo
 
our Defense looks much more nasty than last year. I think we may force Klein to actually beat us through the air. secondary will blow some plays but i have a relatively good feeling about our D against them.

I like us vs GT too

when I say nasty I mean they are separating people from the ball and WANT to hurt people. last year KSU delivered teh blows. this year I think we land some haymakers

The canes will be ready this time for their qb he won't be running all over the place like last year.
Plus Morris has plenty of weapons around him to keep us in the game. The defense will have their ups and
downs. Overall canes VICTORY BABY 35-20 .

K State has a pretty good RB in Heubert. We haven't been able to stop a running QB in a long time and there's no reason to believe we will next week. Golden said Porter will be out for the game, so that's a big blow to our vanilla defense. Anyone know if Arthur Brown is still playing? He was real good last year.
