Before everybody gets too engulfed with the highs and lows of the BC game, lets look at K State.

KState played I-AA Missouri St and was tied at 9 in the 3rd qtr until K St put up a barrage of points. Here are some points of interests:

Missouri St threw the ball all over K St
K St only had 169 yds passing
K St did rush for 300+ yards

l in all it looks like Miami will be able to throw against K St...but we must contain Klein

Their first game last season they barely beat Eastern Kentucky. Just sayin.

I remember a lot of threads scoffing at their performance in that game but we saw a totally different team.
 
Kansas State has a crappy defense. The Big 12 has always been and remains the most overrated conference in football.

Next week is all about Miami's defense against KSU's offense.

Good thing for us is that K St's oline was one of their big question marks coming into the season. We will see how it pans out come Saturday
 
^^^ not sure if serious...but our dline sucks for the most part......

add to it...kstate will politely run it 40 times against us....Snyder also has the coaching advantage and homefield....

will be a dog fight similar to the BC game.....except K-State i believe has better athletes on defense....and a wayyyy better run game....Bc's run game was pathetic..their backs were extremely slow...Klein will be able to do business against us i believe....

I think we can pull it off ...but i have no confidence in our d holding them under 400 yds of offense.
 
our athletes are better, we were just out of position on all of bc's long plays if we get that corrected we will dominate them

Gogeta.....u hit the nail on the head, and yes their oline was shaky coming into the season. Their best on their oline is their center. They had a starter from 2010 that was hurt all last season who was supposed to be a big contributor, but he left the team during camp.

Our d must step up and SteMo must keep running the offense efficiently. It'll be tough, but I am VERY optimistic. A win here would do alot for our confidence as a feam.
 
We could not get pass rush against BC but could contain the run. Can our DEs be disciplined and keep Klein from getting to the edge? This is a game we can win.
 
if it wasnt for jacory coming up short by an inch, we win.

that team is meh, we roll

a coaches flaw but it works out sometimes in these situations where you play a 1aa school, give them the vanilla, do a light game plan and do alot of focus on the next opponent early.

K state knows that they could beat that high school team th
ey played, do they did not want to show too much because they play a real college team next week. That's why the game was close until k-state turned it up. So don't read into that game.

On tbd other hand, I think that we did not show all our cards either, do kegs pipe down. Kegs takr the win and move on.

We have a lot of weaknesses and they have a very very good coaching staff.

Yeah we should definitely be worried.

I think Morris is the difference though. We are going to really struggle at times to stop them but Morris will be able to keep us in it until we can get a TO or a big stop.
 
If Porter returns, Luther Robinson play like he did yesterday, and If Pierre can hold on to tackles in the backfield we have a chance at stopping their run game. And oh yea, DP gonna be laying lumber on Klien all day long.
