Juwon Young Hype Train

I'm just hoping there is no hidden issue like we had with EJ. Kid seemed like such a stud on film, the lack of huge-time offers have me wondering wtf.

I know this might be splitting hairs here, but I always liked LBs that knew the RB position. I thought it helped as an LB to know the way the offense flows for an RB.

I like it also cause they tend to have quick hips/ change of direction.

@bigsonnyu: Yeah, but no. Not With Duke, Yearby, Gus, and Dallas in the platoon. Don't even waste your time thinkin about it. This dude is a head hunter. I am hoping his athleticism plus getting started early, gets him on the field quick.

Any of you who have seen him live care to give a bit more of a breakdown on his game? There's not a great deal to take away from the film provided other than he's big, has a good short area burst and is solid with pursuit angles. He stands straight up a lot (sometimes jumps), fairly raw and roaming around mostly. Hard to get a clean look. I wanna be excited about an incoming LB.

The last incoming LB I've been really excited about is Jermaine Grace. I think Grace is a potential NFL player without a great fit in how we currently play defense. Hoping he makes a jump this year.

Big, short area burst and takes good angles.

Everything we haven't had at LB since god knows when

I give zero ***** about standing up, being raw and roaming at this point.

6 pack perturbing through his tank. No smile. Muscles. Huge ******* muscles. Speed. This kid is a lock to be All ACC throughout his career.

Absolute beast. Him, Owens, and Smith is a sick LB haul imo. This class gets it, could go down as one of the best classes to come through here, period. If they live up to the hype we are going to be one happy fanbase

Personally, I've seen so much indecision/confusion out of our defense that it's hard for me to predict or get excited about how any one player transitions into it in its current form. I guess that might be a threadjack but it's my perspective on the situation.

Love recruits that excel at both sides of the ball

Talent could be partially the reason for this. You dont see indecision out of a Denzel Perryman or a Tracy Howard. The type of talented athlete that the NFL is gushing over.

his hudl tape has Rozay as the instrumental
his neck is wider than his head

2/10 would not recruit

You all can argue over who will be the best all you want. I just want our DC to take the d&mn child-proof seal off our defense and let beast like this do what they do. Don't tame the beast. Feeeeeed them.

Wish we had the depth to redshirt Grace, among others that were forced to play.

I saw him live in a camp setting, and his quick-twitch stands out even among South Florida athletes. He was dominant with his hand in the ground.

With his senior tape, all I wanted to see was some change-of-direction and comfort in space. He showed enough of that to sell me. He wasn't even rushing the passer in that video, but he has those abilities.

I hope he doesn't end up being a Spencer Adkins who is misused all the way to the NFL.

Ray Lewis and DJ Williams were both offensive backfield players in high school right?
