I'm glad to see Auburn, Usc, Texas, Texas A&M etc spending money. Spread the talent out as much as possible & bring some parity back to the sport. It would be nice to see more then 3 teams have a chance to win the national title.

The sad reality is that those 3 teams are still so far ahead of other teams in talent acquisition that it doesn’t matter. It will take a team like Texas or whoever to stack multiple 300-310+ classes in a row to start catching up. It’s crazy

Not really - as (I think Pate) people have said, it's about levelling the playing field. If states start keeping their 5 stars at home instead of them going to Alabama / Georgia it's going to massively impact their depth.

They're still going to be powerhouses, but they can't just steamroll everyone on their schedule anymore and injuries will start actually biting them.
