The amount of hype this year has been epic in regards to recruiting whales but the results have been extremely underwhelming

I am left to wonder, does Mario and the staff feed “insiders” this hype
Or do they just make it to generate internet traffic
If it’s number two I have no problem bc we all have to eat but if it’s number one then we should be concerned

Kinda nailed it. Everyone kept saying wait for July… i know we landed trader and lightfoot but it was supposed to be an insane month. We’re barely in the top 20

Bc I was buying the hype over Stewart and Simmons
He seemed like a manny level recruit
But now it looks like he be the whale we can realistically get

Well we got Lightfoot (a whale) and Stewart is still in play. I will add say the is a 4 star (I belive) and it's not as if he doesn't have top level offers.
Currently committed to a playoff team.
Time will tell how it will all work out.

it’s probably me having too high expectations
But a secret visitor I felt would be a top 50 level player
