B/c I’ve dealt w/ much legal jargon throughout my career along w/ dealing w/ a treacherous ex-wife, I tend to look at words extremely careful. I commented on this w/ Colorado’s “commitment” to the PAC-12, the verbiage used. Sure enough, next thing u know they bolt to the Big XII. Lol
Artavious provided what could be classified as an ambiguous statement, b/c it neither affirms nor denies his commitment to us. Let me provide some contextual examples:
A. If I provided u w/ a policy, and after reading the policy jacket under
claims, u read the following statement:
“In the event of a claim under the terms and conditions of the selected coverage,
it’s very unlikely that we will deny payment to all parties involved…” how confident would u feel in keeping said policy? What questions would u have? Likely it would be “in what event would we not compensate?” in which the actual answer would be “it all depends.” Lol
B. Just think of ur wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend telling u “
it’s very unlikely I’ll cheat on u.” Would u feel secure in that affirmation? Most likely u’ll keep one eye on them at all times.
The phrase “very unlikely” is a slippery slope giving leeway. I’m not saying the kid will or will not flip, but between The Go Noles & now this statement, it’s something we should be mindful of, but not necessarily worried about. Just keep one eye on bro.
