No way we could get a 4 star to be a PWO since he gets a free education anyways as a legacy? Then hook him up with NIL. @Menmon do we have as chilly spot for him considering we get Pickett back to the “Good Guys in Green” at the end?
Not following. Legacy’s get a small nudge from admissions, but no money. Plus walk-ons are going away.

I’m not one for saving receipts, but you’ve been hating on this kid from the beginning. Keep that same Super Saiyan energy bro.
show me the receipts of "hating" though.

I know i liked Vernell Brown a lil bit more (maybe said Mills too) but i dont know if hating would be the right words....cause i would take him as the #1 wr in the class how its shaking.

Refresh me ..no bull sh*t?. I think me and you had a back an forth prior but help me out to where it was like a hate on son.

That post was a joke..I never liked Pope to tough as a prospect...i atleast liked how FFRENCH was getting busy on 7 on 7 in the spring and i know his bro or cousin was tough at Pitt if i could remember.

I have two kids- yes, they do everything on their phones. But there are times when it’s just not appropriate.

Every picture I saw of him at the bbq showed a kid who was not very engaged in anything but his phone.

Just my feeling and I don’t count in his recruitment. Mario’s opinion does….
I saw only 2-3 pics and yes he was on his phone and iced out and my initial gut reaction was largely the same as yours.

But I then thought, its just a few pics, could have meant not a **** thing, and if there is one position where the players seem to be more of a celebrity but can still be good it is WR it seems so I am more interested in hearing about his work ethic.

Def not saying you need to be a celebrity to be a good WR but guys like Diggs, Jefferson, Beckham Jr., Owens, Keyshawn Johnson, Ochocinco, Desean Jackson, Irvin, Antonio Brown, etc. All of them work hard AF though even though they are eccentric. Not saying he compares to any of the above, just that I will withhold judgment without knowing how the kid works and approaches his craft.

As I said above my statement about throwing a phone in the pool was a little harsh. I should have reserved judgment
Like I was saying earlier it’s all about context

Someone can be on the phone minding their business and building a brand for 12-16 hours a day. It’s necessary sometimes. My entire livelihood and businesses run through my phone

But if we are in social setting with friends and family, or even just spending quality time, the phones are always on silent put away

Like Villain said about the airport. Be on your phone minding your business but the idiots standing in everyone’s way unaware of their surroundings need kicked in the head

Context context context

Or adults walking straight in to traffic while their nose is in their phone.

Or MFers aimlessly wandering through a busy airport without a care about the people having to dodge around them.

Or every mfer on this site with thousands of posts, in their phone while their family is out to dinner.
I have to drive across the Causeway Bridge to work and back every day and it's 23. miles each way and you'd be amazed at what I see.

People texting while holding the steering wheel at the same time.

Woman putting on makeup,

people reading papers

people eating cereal or LORD knows what out of a bowl with a spoon trying to hold the bowl and drive.

there are just two lanes then guardrails and then water on both sides. They have half a dozen cars/trucks that end up in the lake every year and I personally have been pushed into the guardrails and totaled my car by a guy in a pickup truck that I bet to this day doesn't realize what he did because He never stopped. I blew my horn at him, but these cars nowadays are built to keep sound out so if you're driving and someone's beeping their horn chances are they aren't going to hear you. All cars nowadays need to be equipped with a button that sounds an airhorn like a truck when you're trying to get someone's attention.

Hey guys, sorry to ask, but I've been busy with the wife's pregnancy lately. So many OB visits, and we just found out the my wife has gestational diabetes. Good news is that once our son is born and the placenta passes, she won't have the diabetes. But lately we have been doing a lot of research and meeting with specialists, so I haven't had much time to spend on the board.

Here's my question, did we ever find out who the three mystery visitors to the BBQ were that D$ mentioned on the podcast? Thanks!

I believe we learned (at least publicly) 2 out of the 3... Ben Hanks and Myron Charles.
