Is there a receiver with multiple years of eligibility, who is very, very good and playing at a school where there are questions about whether they'll be in the CFP next year? Possibly one where they are unhappy with a recent coaching change?

Y'all need to concentrate on our own player development and portal needs.....JS doesn't give af about Miami like others who left the program out to dry......why keep begging him like a bunch of soft *** bi+c#z?....smh

WR1 in theory sounds great, but it needs to be the right fit. The slot role within Dawson’s offense is so important. We need a proven slot guy!

No I think he'd have to favor/weigh a few things that Ohio State can't match currently.

Playing at home in front of all his family
Chance to bring a NC back to his hometown team
U Legacy/brotherhood
Playing with a veteran/proven QB vs an unknown in Sayin (who could end up being really good)

Who knows what those things are worth to him. Obviously if it's an ONLY money decision, OSU can match (and probably surpass) anybody.
Dude was an Ohio state fan and his favorite receivers were osu grads. This isn’t a homesick or a play in front of your family thing. He DGAF about that at all.
He’s living his dream life right now.
Only way he comes home is if osu falls apart next year.

Money won’t sway him to come. He’s already got that.
J Smith is the embodiment of Miami over the last 22 years.
The oos schools have become the dream for the local kids.

It’s literally an indoctrination. Since he was 6 years old he’s seen everyone else win a championship and Miami is barely above .500 with one bowl win and 0.00 conference titles. You’re not gonna convince him with money and hard rock stadium.
