You need a lot of nfl talent to win championships.

We haven’t seen any receivers on this roster produce high draft pick numbers or have film suggesting it.

There’s a lot of money being spent all over the place and there’s a lot of pressure being placed on coaches and programs.

The players better get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Potentially getting replaced is the reality of the profession they dreamed about.

Daniels looks good, but he was injured. Why he left lsu?Idk and I really don't care.

If there is a dude out there that has shown day 1 day 2 nfl draft tape at the p4 level…. You take him period

It’s also the reality of the programs that you may have very talented players leave.
This is semi pro now.

Need those weapons man, they make average qbs look great like Stetson Bennet who we all knew was a jag. There are a lot of qbs who benefited from talent throughout the years, and Cam Ward wasn’t one of them.

You have qbs that are along for the ride and you have qbs that can carry a team like true point guards. It’s one or the other
Agreed, we need all of those weapons. Cam, immensely talented but did benifit from the positions we had high levels of play. The OL, hard nosed RB, X and other decent WRs, and a very talented TE. He flourished as did the Offense. It was the collapse of our D that we didn’t benefit from, and neither did our backups. Had the D played average we would have blown most teams out on the strength of Wards arm, and our backs ups would have gotten much needed reps. So, now we have to rely on talented but inexperienced guys. So yeah, stock up on every area of need and let the competition begin.

10+
100. If they're quality, that would solidify our ACCCG and playoff chances bigtime. I know some are saying S too. But don't we have enough crossovers there that we should be good? Unless Brown really does decide to hit the portal.
Agreed. I think this is what we'll see us attempt to do. We need that big body dt to play nose along with Moten

Accumulate talent and it should take care of itself.
Recruit high school, recruit the portal. And now you have to also recruit your own team cause people will come after your talent as well.

People really underestimate how important it is to learn in competitve environments that no one cares, so you better find a way to get results.

The weakest position groups on the team are LB and WR.
WR and RB are also just straight up a depth issues. We have 8 WRs on the Roster. We need like 11 to be "healthy" at that position. Plain and simple, we need to add like 2 WRs even just for depth purposes. 3 If we lose like Ray Ray.

WR I don't think can be called weakest though. It's definitely inexperienced, but it's actually our 2nd strongest from a recruit talent perspective after EDGE. 5/8 of them just are freshman or RS Freshman.
Like theres not REALLY a big reason that its weaker than say interior Oline tbh. Same with Safety given we don't currently know who our 2nd starting safety will be currently. And Its not like DT is so much more "proven".
We need our young talent to step up period, and we need to add the best WR we can in spring portal no matter what.

Agree completely. Going into the season w only 8 WR would be risky (and that’s assuming no one transfers).

I agree we need a transfer for depth. But that's not the main reason. The main reason is we need proven talent, as well. Over 2 decades of mediocrity on the field should be enough evidence to show you cannot rely only on unproven talent at a position.

Look at our LB recruiting. Smith, Wes, Popo, Bryant, Washington, Pruitt were all 4 composite stars with Popo and Bryant having 5 star ratings at points in their recruitment by some sites. Were you happy with their performance last year? Half the Top 300 HS recruits underperform their rankings. Happens to everyone not just Miami. But programs like Bama, Taint and UGA just keep stacking. We're stacked at DE, DB, OL. Need to get there at WR, DT and LB.

WR and LB?

Don’t you know how many borderline 5* top 300 players we have at those positions?

Everyone knows HS ranking >>>>>> actually college production.

I mean JoJo is better than Jeremiah Smith didn’t you hear?

LB is the worst position group. But WR should be very concerning.

We need the offense to be a well-oiled machine. Beck is a rhythm passer.

The defense will be better than last year, but the short to mid range passing game will undo our LBs against a good QB with a solid exterior OL.
