Josh Moore

There’s talent but like you said lacks experience. I’m also not high on Daniels. Relying on this current WR group in Becks final year should be a crime.
Beck just came on our plate. We already had the majority of the room compiled. When you keep saying group and room for one you're basing this off of nothing but inexperience. They are inexperienced because of the fact we had a group of wr last year who almost to a tee all performed at a pretty high level. So they didn't get many snaps and call me crazy but my guess is even if they had got complimentary snaps the narrative would still be the same with complaints and inexperienced etc being tossed around. To say it's criminal to have this room with beck is far too dramatic. What exactly should we have done? Maybe cut all their scholarships even though our only issue is not enough time on the field to show who they are? Just breathe

We should bring in another proven WR or two, relying on inexperienced players to be full time contributors with a new qb isn’t smart at all. We just saw how beck looked with a step down in talent. It would be in our best interest to try and get as much impact skill players to surround him if acc championship and playoffs are our expectation

But everything is always all good in the off season, every best case scenario is what people think will happen but then when it underwhelms the people who said it are looked at as negative when they hold the coaches accountable for not addressing a clear need once again

I think Lofton and JoJo will be the biggest targets for Beck this upcoming season. If Daniels proves to be sure handed and Ny Car and Malachi are serviceable, I think we'll be aight. Though, wouldn't mind bringing in another WR transfer. my .02

Brother we're too old for dramatics. No one should be paying any attention (positive or negative) to any reports coming out of the first week of spring practice. All that's going on in this time frame in the majority of next is installing systems and doing technique drills. There's not much competition going on right now. I get what you're saying. But look at it logically. Who in the portal right now, is a proven receiver (since obviously the only way to get that would be out of the portal) with enough upside that would make me willing to prioritize them over the kids I've recruited that I've tied numerous resources into and I'd neglect they're potential development? What proven receivers do you see in the portal that makes you say that? Right now I don't see it. I'd imagine our coaching staff is more aware of our current situation than vast majority of you guys on here. Main difference between proven and unproven is playing time... So instead of getting caught up in dramatics why not just let them show who they're gonna be.

The other difference with how beck looked previously is most of those receivers had playing time and proved to be ***. Not the case at all here since they haven't been on the field. Not trying to argue difference of opinions. It's a beautiful day outside

Exactly this. If a true #1 is realistic, that's a different story. But if we're talking about adding bodies, then let's ride with the guys we're literally invested in. Its not like JoJo and Ny are jags.

His feet are elite for a guy his size. From a physical traits standpoint it's may not be an exaggeration to say he's the freakiest WR we've had since Andre Johnson.
I think its possible that he may not be done growing yet, either. I read his father is 6'7.

Question:

Will Beck make them better WRs...

OR...

Will their natural WR talent make Beck a better QB?

If memory serves a big component of Beck's "production drop" last season was from dropped (very catchable) passes.

If we can land a true #1 WR in the portal, that's one thing. But if we're talking about more filler like Daniels or Brown, I'd rather roll with the guys we've recruited.

JoJo was ranked 42 and Ny was a 67 for a reason. And I think they're both as good as advertised.
WR is fine if a true #1 isn’t available, what we need is another RB.

LMFAO I was just getting out of a conference call and didn't even take a second to recognize that one. Alright **** it. I'll call on myself. @Confidence1000 I dun ****ed up.
Yeah u did but I’m gon let u off wit a warning dis time. BIG PAUSE!

This is great to hear because when he first committed to us many were questioning his speed and thought he would end up at TE.
