You know if someone ***** up once, usually they get a second chance to atone for their mistakes.

Now if he f^cks up again, so be it. 100% will turn. At least he’s doing something about changes no matter how long it takes, unlike any of his predecessors.

Oh yeah, look I’ll know as soon as he makes the hire. Even if the hire ends up being meh and it’s a spread offense or more up tempo, then at least his philosophical mindset has changed.

But if it’s Arroyo or some slow bs again, then that’s all we’ll need to see.

at this point, ill believe it when i see it regarding the next OC and his philosophy. it doesnt mean the diff styles cant win, but we absolutely need to be quicker than paint drying this year

I’m not disagreeing. All I’m saying is that you can’t mix oil and water. If that’s what they are then why bring either one back with the other.

fwiw, i think gattis is gone too. ive said idc about the date of when hes gone as long as the next guy is announced right away. you cant take your time w the firing and then not have the successor lined up imo esp after this toxic season. if there is no plan beyond firing gattis...

The 1 read thing was disproven a while ago too. False narrative. TVD is guilty of letting it rip before it develops at times but he goes through his progressions like a pro

I’m more concerned with how long it will take him to learn the new offensive system. Seems like it takes him at least a few games and still starts off slow in games…

Here’s my educated guess:

Mario told Gattis it’s best that he move on, and gave him a deadline to leave on his own to avoid the “fired” label

This deadline also coincided with the timeline Mario set to have his next OC in place.

So Gattis doesn’t have an open ended timeline to bounce. Mario isn’t dumb enough to let Gattis Fuq him twice while at Miami

He started off slow with Lashlee and in the actual first part of games.

He started off terrible under Gattis. Some changes were made, he still started off slow and then got hurt, and hurt, and hurt.

TVD is no longer a sure thing. Mariattis destroyed our QB room.

I want a fresh look, including a review of the portal for the new OC that should have been hired already.

Our new OC might still be coaching in a bowl game. Biggest concern with TVD is that shoulder. What WAS the issue? Can it heal? Need surgery? Then rehab? Need a really good OC/ QB coach along with WR coach / recruiter.
