It makes absolutely no sense. What is he telling recruits? You're committing to a school and not a coach? He has no problem telling players to kick rocks and go to the portal. Fire the coaches you need to fire and get it over with. The man is getting paid too much and given all the resources needed to delay these easy decisions. It's unfair to the fans, players, and everyone who invested money in the program.

There's no question this has hurt recruiting, specifically at RB and WR where we have a total of 2 commits.

It’s a lose-lose game for roughly 35% of the board. I suggest you guys just take a hiatus.

Option 1: Gattis isn’t “fired” until he finds a new job. 35% grows loud and repeats their same complaints like children.

Option 2: Even if Gattis is publicly let go, Mario still waits for the CFP and NFL season to end, and for some firings. Then the 35% complain he’s taking his time going through options.

There will be always something to complain about. It just depends on what.

lol complains liek children? we waited forever to hire coaches and ended up w a toxic staff that couldnt coach little leaguers. i think its fair to wonder why gattis is still around. mario also doesnt deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore w staff hirings. we absolutely failed after taking his time. his process didnt work (whatever the reasons were for the delay). he has to hit on round 2 of his staff or it wont be pretty for him bc he was as bad if not worse than manny year 1 as an HC at miami

put him in a system where he can succeed. they promised us that in the offseason. every QB gattis put his hands on sucked in his system. at some point, your system sucks. at michigan, his system sucked too. if not for moore and weiss, michigan wouldnt even smell the playoffs last year.
