Many are expecting Liam Cohen to return, who the previous year had UK's offense ranked 21st in the nation after being there for just one year.

Great. Could dig up Bill Walsh and, as way trending, will be looking up to Georgia, Tenn, Florida and South Carolina. Stoops has done yeoman job while SEC East has recalibrated, but Kentucky's window has closed.

Question: what is the benefit of keeping Gattis this long....if he will be let go? This is. Not a situation where an in demand coach is leaving and you trying to keep recruits. He is a actual hindrance. I dont wanna hear none of them 3D taking forever to hire chess yall told us about last season. It brought us Gattis. Its less like chess and more like indecision.

I don't think there's a benefit to keeping him, but if there are contractual issues that need to be sorted out, that could certainly delay things.

I have no clue and I'm guessing, but presumably issues such as these could delay things:
1. Is buy-out reduced after a certain date? That could make firing him after a certain date more appealing.
2. If a buy-out has to be negotiated, an agreement like that presumably takes time between both sides.
