no chance they would take him back. no, none. nil, ninguno, nico, neinView attachment 225845The door is open
i believe gattis got a 1 year extension either before 2021 season or right after going into 2022.
I don’t know maybe. Bottom line is we didn’t land a top 10 qb. Is Emory a 3 star??? Stars have to matter to some degree in this type of conversation. I think there were opportunities with Dante Moore were we positioned with the right OC. I think with that it could have opened up WR opportunities with ****ey and Innis.Agree it has cost us, but not so much on the QB side of things. We did have one of the top QB recruits committed and only lost him late in the process because the gators made him an unreal (literally) offer that he and his people stupidly decided to drop us for without considering how legit the offer might be. Even while he was committed we still had a second QB commit of a solid recruit who had other offers and could have gone where he would have been their primary QB recruit.
He was supposed to be part of the success in lieu of Gattis. I guess not.Lol Michigan just fired the Weiss guy. Can we convince them to take Gattis back?
All of this but for someone like me that was all in on Mario a year ago, absolutely nothing outside of recruiting has been even halfway good
butch wasnt as experienced as mario as an HC though. i think he is what he is as a game manager. a guy coaching as an HC for what? 10 years? maybe slightly less? he is who he is but i dont think thatll stop us from winning big. tons of ****** game managers win. i think hes gotta hit a HR on his coordinator hires to win bigAnd I've not argued against that, no matter how many lies crossover tells about me.
But I think that the recruiting is going to pay big dividends, as early as this year. Need to fix the coaching issues immediately. The "game management" will come with time, it took Butch multiple years to get past THAT.
Apparently he wasn’t the reason on offense for getting them into the playoffs as Weiss and another guy were mentioned.
Cheaper to keep her.Can someone give me one good reason why this guy is still employed?
he didnt get fired for perofrmance. he got fired bc he may be getting arrestedHe was supposed to be part of the success in lieu of Gattis. I guess not.

sounds like there are 1.9 million reasons…Can someone give me one good reason why this guy is still employed?
I mean come on he’s 50 and been in football for 40 years. Not sure how you have to learn the clock still. I like Mario, knew him personally back in the day, but that’s a stretch. If a fool like me knows it, the $8 million dollar man should know itAnd I've not argued against that, no matter how many lies crossover tells about me.

Seems like a narrative that the mopes created when we hired gattis to downplay the hireHe was supposed to be part of the success in lieu of Gattis. I guess not.

OP eluded to program historical miscues. I was referring/adding to that.Who are Mario's "swings and misses" as a head coach? Most of his coordinator-level guys have gone on to promotions and/or success at some point after.
