Coaching meetings over? Not sure. They over?

I think they are just about over. We waiting on NSD? That's the next thing? Almost there. Can't wait. Thanks

The fact that Mario is seemingly ok with wasting another season with Gattis is sickening. Man is seriously going to use the entire 8 years of his contract to get us to be anywhere (if it ever happens).

His decision making process is just odd. I wonder if he believes that Gattis problems were a pitiful OL and injuries. I get the feeling that he thinks scoring 21 a game and playing good D is the recipe for success. It's like he's stuck in the past. I'm trying to have faith, but he's not proved to be anything other than a great recruiter.

if thats what he thinks, well never win

I hate this entire process from Mario

But what I keep reminding myself is of the other candidates in the initial group. I was generally pleased with the group in aggregate

Plus knowing that Gattis was a last tier option

Here’s to hoping Mario gets one of his top 2 options

Did you listen to what he said as the wheels started coming off? It’s pretty clear he put this on lack of talent. Paraphrasing but he said something like all the coaches have had success elsewhere, they didn’t forget how to coach.

And I do agree with that sentiment to some extent. But I never saw Gattis put what talent we did have in a position to succeed. Lashlee had pretty much the same players and schemed them to success. I refuse to believe that MTSU has more talent (among a few other teams we lost to). Gattis was constantly trying to fit square peg in a round hole.
