looking into it, It just seems like fan theory. Iowa fans seem to think he's a great OC and they naturally tied him to McNamara

not sure there's any actual smoke yet other than fans going back and forth, and their HC would have to fire his son who's the OC for it to happen..

Iowa has that personnel he needs, he’ll be able to get them up to 19.4 PPG and I’m willing to go on the record to say he’ll get up to 20.4 which would be a big boost for them. Would have won a couple more ball games this year if they had him. Going to get Iowa City fired up. Great hire.

You already speak for thousands. Like I said attendance was down this year, even after season tickets sales skyrocketed. People won’t show up or support the team with that guy calling plays.

Im a perfect example of this. I bought season tickets for the first time in several years and went to the Bethune Cookman, TAMU, MTSU and North Carolina games before giving up on this team. I sheepishly went to the FSU game because (1) it was a night game and (2) because it was FSU and came away disgusted. Even when my entire crew left at halftime, I stayed until the final whistle blew. Then I washed my hands of the 2022 Canes. I donated my Pitt tickets to a local charity but I doubt they got used. Even economically disadvantaged families wanted no part of seeing this team. lol
