Jordan feels ready to seize opportunity at UM, will report Monday

I don’t see the shockey comparison at all with Jordan. Mallory game is more closely related to greg Olsen than Winslow. Jordan imo game compares more in favor to Winslow

Olsen is the easy comp because he's white and 6-5. I also say KW2 because they are very similar in size when they first came in and KW2 (besides DE) played a lot of WR split wide - just like Mallory - and is a 4.5 guy. Shockey made his money as a route runner with great hands and very good speed. That's Jordan.

Jordan's game and physical makeup is nothing like KW2.

The way he’s gaining weight I see him eventually outgrowing te and moving to guard. Now that’s what you call a “mismatch”

Looks more like a young Keith Jackson to me. He has that same ability with the ball in his hands that Jackson had.

Mallory looks like no one I've seen at TE. Faster than anyone I can remember, and not quite built like a TE.

They are both great weapons, and it'll be almost unfair once we get an accurate QB that knows when to get them the ball.

It’s an easy comp with Olsen because he’s in that same realm athletically. Olsen had the length and elite speed at tight end 4.55 at the combine. Im willing to bet Mallory runs even faster than that at the combine. You should probably look at Jordan film some more he lined up split out wide quite a bit as well as an in line tight end. They also have similar size as well. It’s not just about route running with Jordan, he’s elite after the catch as well and is far more fluid after the catch than shockey was capable of being

Thomas: I’ve posted a couple of times that Keith Jackson of Oklahoma is the exact model for Jordan. 6’3”, 250 lbs. Physical and fast with a run after catch that put fear in the DBs.

Game breaker.

Cant wait to see him on the field.

Coach richt is putting a lot of stock in them and expecting them to contribute immediately
Remember in that “mic’d Up” vid with Hartley and he told Irving he had no problem rolling with one TE this spring if half-assed another route? Ole boy bout got benched and the freshmen ain’t even here yet.

Exactly. Jackson was a monster, and I see the same kind of talent in Jordan. Big, strong, fast, and looking to run someone over on the way to the end zone.

Hopefully they push Irvin to step up his game, too. He has enough talent, not sure what his deal is. But both Mallory and (especially) Jordan are special enough to play as TFs. Offensive Shaq and Pinckney.

He’s not deceptively fast he’s just fast period and you don’t find many 6’5 220 plus tight ends running under 11.00 in the 100m

Yeah, he's deceptively fast.

His legs are running, but not that fast - but his strides are loooooong, and when you see the DB's trying to catch him - that's when everything comes into perspective.

You're talking an event time.

I'm talking about speed that is deceptively fast. As in seeing. Watching. Observing.

Not running and looking up a time he ran in the 100.
