Have you seen the way this defensive line is playing? Or does he get no credit for that. Mario is supposed to be the recruiter that loss is on him.

You have to do your whole job though not half. We need someone that does both. I’m waiting till NSD but yes this has begun a new red flag moment. If you do not land elite DTs each cycle you might as well wrap it up.

Joe’s got a sweet recruiting gig.

Dude is so bad at recruiting he doesn’t actually recruit anybody, so can’t be credited for any recruiting losses.

Look, I get DTs are coveted. Most of the whales stayed in their home states. But how much can we use the geographic excuse for Florida recruits? We just going to pray Coral Park produces 5 star DTs and assume we aren't going to be competitive for elite DTs north of Opa-locka?

Blount was a UM commit, but sounds like we lost him because FSU paid a lot more. That is unacceptable because we missed on basically every DT and QB. There should have been a huge war chest for keeping him - and especially keeping him out of FSUs hands.

If that’s the case let them get into salary cap trouble like A&M. Other players are going to want raises if Blount got seven figures.

Blount is a DE,

I get it that everyone is ****ed he flipped and we don’t have a 5star DT committed. Last I checked, we don’t have any 5 stars committed and Joe has his 4star commit and 3star commit with big production (Russell) to go with Burroughs. Numbers are needed for DT because you never know who will develop. You just have to trust Zorio to handle the roster.

A lot of money for a Junior in HS who will need at least a year to develop. If he were a senior i would understand but not sure this is smart to throw the bank at. Also, will be interesting to see if the bank has the funds down the road.
