Oregon is reportedly looking to offer Kelly 10 mill. a year. I don't think even L$U will match that. He also said he's staying in the NFL, but we have heard that before.

Not flaming but how would hiring a coach who has won 77 percent of his games in the SEC west be a PR nightmare?

Hiring a coach that was just fired from the school who stole your coach. Hard for anyone not to perceive that as a loss for FSU. That would be the 2nd coach fired from the SEC to land in the ACC in consecutive years.

Coaching merits aside. I like Miles i'm just saying it would be perceived as LSU getting the best of FSU.

Similar to how LSU bullied Florida into a rematch on their terms.

Ok cflacane2, I understand what you're saying now. We just see this a little differently. I think the media would love seeing Miles go to FSU, and that in the final measure the FSU boosters would be more concerned about continuing their success than public perception of hiring a winning coach who LSU let go. FSU would find a way to spin it in a positive direction. And the media seems to like Miles. Anyway, it should be an interesting end of the season as far as the coaching carousel goes.

If Miles hires a big name as an offensive coordinator it would definitely go a long a way to erasing any negativity surrounding the hire.

At first I thought he was a bad hire. Then I thought he Saban Jr. then I realized it was Winston and Cook.

Hes a good coach not great and I'm good with him stayng at FSU

RB - No Cook, big ?
WR - Murray looks good, other than that, nothing great

LB - Worse position on their team this year
DB - James is a star, Solid corners

Look how they recruit check again....they have names right now that will emerge just like we do every year. They recruit at an elite level so those back ups will be better next season

Nope. If I haven't heard a guy's name called in a game yet, he sucks and always will suck. Unless he's a Miami player, in which case he's the best and the coaches are stupid for not playing him.

Strong is a good guess. I wouldn't be surprised. Similar to Jimbo in that he can recruit and needs a loaded roster to win. But strong has a better eye for talent.

FSU wouldn't go anywhere near Art Briles, especially after them hiding the Jameis rape. He's radioactive.
 
Hate Jimbo but that man can make a halftime adjustment with the best of em'. That being said I hope he dies.
