Jeudy or Devontae Smith

I read this site daily and I have a source that told me that as long a Alabamas bag man is local which he is Miami not getting nobody so then I asked him about jj he laughed and said Miami bagman Ain't big enough

I think this would be apropos under the circumstance: Ninja, bye Felicia!

We are not gonna land these elite guys till we can win and get to a meaningful bowl game. Richt only has so much pull. All of these kids never saw a dominant Miami. I'm not counting on us landing either.

That's just not true. Good salesmen (which is what recruiting is) are able to recruit after not-so-great seasons. Yes winning makes it easier, but there are plenty of examples of coaches selling kids on the future.

You guys act like we're Appalachian State or Northwest Idaho U. These kids know **** well that we put out more NFL millionaires than any other program in the country. While we have slipped after 3 lousy coaches, our name still carries an awful lot of weight both in So FL and nationwide.

I feel where u are coming from Combo b/c you have your orange and green shades on, but you're absolutely wrong in your assessment; M3N is absolutely correct.

I want to take you back to 2014-2015 when our endorsement deal came up...our evaluation was slightly above a mid tier school. Even when UA came in w a higher offer than Nike, as u can c, it was a MUCH lower offer than what they've anted up for both Cal and UCLA, respectfully
;and while Adidas did win out, our offer was much lower than what they offered to retain ND. Our Brand is not that strong as it once was, and it's simply b/c winning and momentum increases popularity.

The landscape of life in general, has changed. Kids want to be associated w what's cool....that's how you get the likes on Instagram, and the followers...and that's also how you get drafted. Right now, we have a two year stretch where we've produced at least one 1st round player...but you can't compare that to Bama, OSU, Clemson, or FSU. These kids are very impressionable and our history has become lost w them b/c all they see and hear about are how great those aforementioned teams are. It doesn't help when that's validated by losing 6 in a row to our rivals up North on National TV and get blown out 58-0 by Clemson, on National TV....that's all they know.

These kids have us in their top 5's, 10's, and 12's b/c they "heard" about our tradition, they're interested in us, but they haven't really seen it. Coaches are still negatively recruiting against us, and they have prior evidence to back it up. But no doubt, they've also seen a lot of players succeed in the league under Richt's watch, so right now, we are on audition for these kids...what are we going to do? What can we show them? Win, and it's all good...but lose this year again, you can kiss the class of 2017 and top recruits from 2018 good bye...and that's the sad reality.

Rellyrell & M3N speaking the truth. The light at the end of the tunnel isn't some freight train clown coach this time around though. I agree winning begets winning...We need to think about style points in our wins also. We need to drum some teams Jimmy style on offense, defense and ST. Young guys getting meaningful pt and producing in those situations will also help. The kids seem to really like our staff, if they can develop kids where they are saying coach so and so raised my physical and mental game and that's a big reason for my success, we'll start winning more and more of the battles. My $0.02...

Go Canes!

Go Canes!

Jeudy.

Dugans is already the best recruiter on the staff.

He will lock JJ down.

Explain Richards than . Every body thought he was going to Bama about this time last year

Richards is from an affluent family, he ain't touching **** that comes in a brown paper bag. Plenty of other SFL kids who are "bout that brown bag life".

Agree here

But we bout the Brown bags too now

re: dugans, 2 words....latrell williams

I'm sorry, but that kid Latrell is a sorry character.

Dugans is his only real offer, from USF. Then, Dugans gives the kid a shot at a glamor program in Miami when he gets hired. And Latrell's big "thank you" to Dugans was to flip on signing day to Tenn, who desperately offers anyone we do. I wish nothing but the worst for him and Snaggletooth McBellybutton.

Jeudy! U need to win the battles for your top local talent first and foremost!

Richt getting him sends a message to SFL

Dugans...

Sam Bruce
Ahmon Richards
Deejay Dallas

None of these kids were committed when Dugans.

Nehru is a guy I would rather have because of SoFlo. Still do not know why LSU is not in the mix. The kid does not separate like other top targets so maybe that is why.

This dude points to one low-life, who was raised terribly, and ignores all of Dugans' great work. He's one of those "new" posters with "Cane" in his name.

I'll tell ya this much, I think both of them are **** fools if they go to Bama. When have you seen a Bama offense that features two wideouts at the same time?!?! When have you ever been like,"Bama's really flinging that rock around to errybody! They've gotta couple of 1000 yd wrs, another with 800+, 50 catches for the TE, ****!!!"? They always feature one guy and the others have to play minimal support roles and hope for their shot once "The Man" turns pro. And if another all-world WR comes outta high school that year, they're officially ****ed. You saw it with Julio, then Amari, now Ridley. Their O is built to feature one WR & he ain't budging for another 2 years. Richards knew that and that's why he wears orange & green. IMO, it has to be the bread(from what I read on CIS, Ahmmon & family ain't need it) that makes talented kids like these two consider joining the less than favorable situation of rotting on the depth chart behind Ridley for a GUARANTEED 2 years... And before anyone comes back with the bull**** winning championships argument, ask yourself this, Would I go to a school that will put me in a better position to reach the NFL or greatly marginalize my NFL chances for a higher probability of winning a College championship?

I would be happy with either.

The fact that we still appear to be actively recruiting both says we have a chance. It may be a solid or slim one, but those saying we have no shot are being negative without any foundation for doing so.

Thank you! I've been waiting for someone to point this out. That Alabama offense features the running game and 1 dominant WR. The rest of the receiving core and TEs barely get any looks. Julio Jones, Amari Cooper and now Ridley. Those are the only Bama WRs that have produced in Saban's time there. ****, OJ Howard only had 17 more receptions than Njoku last season and Njoku was splitting time at TE three ways. If I'm a WR or TE I'm not going to Bama. They've brought in several 4 and 5 star athletes at WR and only 2 have hit in the last 4 recruiting classes.

Anyone summarize the 247 Jeudy article? TIA

Bama is his leader with Miami, Tennessee, and Florida in the lead group. He has likes all the schools coaching staff and says he likes the way Dugan's teaches. He wants to visit USC this summer.

Basically everything I expected to read. Just glad FSU still isn't in his top list, I thought they might be gaining traction with him. Appreciate it!

Jerry Jeudy is better than Devonta Smith. Smith is overrated. Jeudy does everything well, he has no weaknesses to his game.
