I can understand your outlook (& I'm not trying to be a prick or critical by what I'm about to say) but anyone who expects this team to lose on the golden or Shannon sorts simply doesn't understand this game & the role & importance that both coaching & schemes plays in this sport. College football in particular. For anyone who thinks well how about Shannon feel free to look at his o.c & position coaches **** near every year. Politics was a large problem onion had as well. This staff that Richt put in place is geared towards becoming the Bronx bombers of college football. It's covered in all facets.

Clemson is by far the best team in the league, so it'll be the Tigers we play if we make it to Charlotte.

I am excited for the season. The effects of the cloud linger in the fact that we are not very deep and have some players on this team that are not Miami caliber yet came to Miami when others would not. But the Cloud is gone and we have a new beginning. Hope we win the ACC in 2-3 years.

We are not gonna land these elite guys till we can win and get to a meaningful bowl game. Richt only has so much pull. All of these kids never saw a dominant Miami. I'm not counting on us landing either.

That's just not true. Good salesmen (which is what recruiting is) are able to recruit after not-so-great seasons. Yes winning makes it easier, but there are plenty of examples of coaches selling kids on the future.

You guys act like we're Appalachian State or Northwest Idaho U. These kids know **** well that we put out more NFL millionaires than any other program in the country. While we have slipped after 3 lousy coaches, our name still carries an awful lot of weight both in So FL and nationwide.

Our only problems are depth. Injuries is the only thing that can hurt us.(sortve a double negative) this team doesn't lack skill it lacked a scheme that worked for the talent in place & simplified playing the game of football

Correct we certainly do have players who in some instances are not our caliber & thats why we have depth issues.But don't be surprised if you have to reassess some of those kids after this season. I just can't wait till we have one more recruiting class in place & I won't have to hear our supposed fans always *****ing.

Either or. We need that speed and recruiting win against elite schools. Both have pros and Cons but I had to put my money on it for future recruiting needs its a push so **** it Id pick smith. We need to get back into the Boot. I have no faking we will get the so Fl kids back on board and to some degree we do but we are lacking from the boot and it was good to us before.
