Broward kids don't feel loyalty to Miami...we claim Ft. Lauderdale more than Miami...just saying

UM was the hometown team for just about everybody in Broward unless you had familial allegiance to UF or fsu or were from davie.

Yep.

Zbrod is a nice kid but he's part of the very young **** South Florida generation of front-running cumbags with no local pride or sense of community. I can assure you that Broward was all about UM until fairly recently.

It was. This is all disgusting me. I grew up within the 305 but it was one area and the U was our school just like the Dolphins were our team. At Dolphins games there were Cooper City (Broward) people that sat in front of me at every game. This generation has no fûcking sense of community pride. The Fins moved north as a testament to it being one area.

I'm gonna jump Zbrod in the Galleria Mall parking garage. Noogie City until he passes the eff out.

I'll empty my glock 19 before you could touch me Tad lol...just saying

Look. We gotta start winning games. We can't lose to UNC, can't lose to a **** ND team and for god's sake we gotta beat FSU erry now and then if we wanna get a croot like JJ. We just got to win and then we can pick who we want and who we don't. 8-4 is not gonna cut it for top talent.

Amen. Winning cures all ills. Why does Alabama recruit the best, they have been winning consistently. Just got to win. Starts with the bowl game. Losing JJ is painful. Hope Bama has a floundering offense for the forseeable future and JJ regrets his decision. I hope even more we are the ones that make him regret it. Just have to win and win and win.

Yea, very few are like me and Corey Gaynor...Coral Springs is probably the only place I could think with a lot of canes fans in Broward...the 2 best baseball players in the town were UM commits until they got drafted

We're talking about repping the 305 in this convo but JJ (or Irvin for that matter), doesn't live in the 305.

Broward kids got no love for Dade, and I say that as a kid who grew up in Broward. If you're from around the way you'll understand that. This isn't like losing Amari Cooper.

I grew up in Dade. If that's how they feel in Broward then fûck that

I grew up in dade also and I'm telling you, it's a different mentality in broward

YEAH this might be the dumbest thing I've heard on this site. We've had as many legends from Broward as Dade, past and present.

Irvin and Blades (all of em) are Broward for god sakes. Howard, Hurns and Dorsett. stop making dumb **** up.

callmetrip go up to a kid in Broward and ask them if they know who beanie blades is...not a single one of them would know who he is or care

Alabaga recruits the best because they pay the best. Don't play yourself on this naive ****. They pay like motherfckers.

When I went to Fins games in the OB as a kid there were a lot of Broward people there. Joe Robbie moved up there for a reason. I don't remember the make up at Canes games as well but it was definitely more local to Miami.

Agree on fins fans but they were fans bc of the team - not necessarily the city. UM is a different animal imo

Bullshyt. Bennie runs the facilities at Joseph C. Carter Park on Sunrise, just east of I-95 and a lot of kids know who Bennie is.

I know he does. In all seriousness though, go up to someone like Jerry Jeudy and ask if they know who Bennie is and how much he meant to past hurricanes teams...I promise they wouldn't know who he is

Hahaha. I expected a higher level of decorum at Galleria.

How does a South Florida kid say that his heart is in TusKKKaloosa, Alabama? I would feel like a failure as a parent if my kids told me that their hearts are in a place they've been to for a week in their lives, and turned their backs on the area where they grew up.

And ask him the same question about Cornelius Bennett and you'll get the same reaction.

I see. I had parents that both went there and growing up in Dade, it was what I knew. Part of why I went to a college with no football team... I remained a clean Canes fan.

Jerry Jeudy isn't the problem, he's merely a symptom of the problem. There are a lot of grifters here, and it's ******* sickening.

BTW, Broward was 305 until August 1, 1996, and I think Palm Beach County was also 305 prior to that time.

God bless Señor Wings.

"Savages play with savages" seems like an insult to Miami

Meant to upvote.

Total ******* frontrunner in the strictest definition. Losing the OC but still going to the Established Brand. What a generation of frontrunners, really. The Golden State cluster fck, all these bull**** superteams? What happened to the days of Drexler's Blazers vs Bird's Celtics vs Jordan's (late 80s/very early 90s pre-Rodman et al) Bulls vs Isiah Thomas' Pistons? Why do everyone need to "join em" when they can't beat em? Society of ******* frontrunners.

That wasn't where I was getting at. He's trying to bring up the argument of Howard, Irvin, and Bennie all being Broward county guys but all they see is Calvin balling at Bama, Lamar winning the heisman at Louisville, Patrick Peterson that became one of the best player in the country at LSU...etc and expect Phillip Dorsett and Allen Hurns to compete with that. **** a lot of them don't even know Michael Irvin is from Fort Lauderdale...probably the STA guys and that's it
