It's a tough loss to Bama but everyone knew it would be an uphill battle this late in the game. Thought the kid handled the difficult situation with class by weighing all his options and making a decision quickly. Considering his little sister passed away so recently and the pressure he has been under to decide where he is going to school...he's had a rough couple of weeks.

Wish he decided to stay close to family and play for UM, but he made his own decision and now the rest of us can choose to react like men or not.

I know some "handle it better" than others, and Jeudy has at least shown some chararacter, but this is an epidemic. The stakes are high and the heat needs to be turned up accordingly.

I made a similar point in another thread a while back in reference to the trend in recent recruits that seemed to embrace being a Cane the most. Berrios, Quarterman, Dallas, etc. were all kids not from South Florida. It's not a knock on the local kids but it seems like a trend in the ones that are most hardcore Miami during the recruiting process have been the non-locals.

Never said Broward was Alabama territory, but there's always been a (unspoken)rivalry between the two counties since at least the 80s when I grew up, and there's no love lost between residents.
